Technology Store Shopper: 10 emails, really? Sassie abuse

10 back to back identical emails, first time I've been contacted by them. No one's Sassie agreement consents to being SPAMed.
Bad first impression.

Shoppers can opt out of receiving shop notifications via email. I don't hesitate to opt-out for abusers who flood my inbox with shops that are not only not in my area, but way out of my area, like Hawaii, etc. If I'm interested, I will check their job boards.

Some (all?) MSCs have technology to define shop availability by sorting geographically, then emailing shoppers within that definition. Sassie MSCs have that availability, if I'm not mistaken. Don't know why schedulers would skip that step. It shows lack of respect for shoppers' time.
Mert,

Good advice. It reminds me that I can also rate the scheduler in Sassie.

Ten emails is better than the about 40 I received in one day from another company. I choose to use filters to put the emails of shops/schedulers/MSPs in a different folder that I look at at my leisure instead of opting out.

How do you rate a scheduler in Sassie?

Happily shopping Rhode Island and nearby Massachusetts and Connecticut
You rate schedulers in Jobslinger I believe

Why do you think that? I have never seen that feature there. As far as I know, Jobslinger just is a shop aggregating tool that allows shoppers to see shops for MSCs which use the Sassie platform.
I don't think that there is anywhere that permits schedulers to be rated. The closest thing is this Forum.
This is how JobSlinger describes itself: "One JobSlinger search gives you access to listings from hundreds of companies -- the hottest jobs from SASSIE, DemoZilla, Volition.com and the MSPA, all in one place!"

I can believe that because it happened to me. When I told them that I did not appreciate the many emails for a job which I applied a long time ago, they turned around and told me that I was registered under three emails. I could not believe it because only one email addy was getting all the emails. I was given a citation for having three emails yet I didn't do a single shop for them.

They did not delete my name even when I asked them to. Eventually, I accepted a shop not knowing it was the same company, as they did go under other names. But that's history. I enjoy working with them now and they pay within the month, sometimes the next week. Everyone has been very accommodating. I highly recommend them.
Ok, it is another site that lets you rate schedulers.

As for Sassie, I'm trying to figure out how to block specific companies or schedulers.

Sassie should consider adding a scheduler rating.

Which site can you rate schedulers? I'd love to give rave reviews for the majority, and also share a few nightmarish ones.
I am unaware of any such site. Trust me, if it existed, there would be lots of people on hear commenting about it. There aren't.

I think it is only for schedulers registered on their site...

Occasionally, if a shopper is listed on several job search sites, for example Job Slinger, Job Slinger Plus, Shadow Shopper or some of the others, and a company posts on all of those sites, you can get multiple emails in regard to the same job.

Also, if you have established a wide range, say 50 miles and an MSP is working for a client with a lot of stores in the area, say, for example a fast food company with 25 outlets in 50 miles, you can get an email for every McWonderful in your 50 mile range. and if you compound that by the 3 search sites that you are listed with, that may be why you are getting multiple emails for the same MSP. Hope that helps.
