What is the best way to contact Maritz?

I'm so embarrassed to admit this, but I really screwed up when I applied to Maritz. I entered my name wrong on the form. Now they have my middle name as my first name and my first name as my last name. Way to make a fantastic first impression with a company, right?

I sent them a message through their website as soon as I realized what I'd done, but still haven't heard anything from them. I don't want to be annoyingly persistent since it was 100% my fault. Is there a better method of making contact that I should try instead of the contact form?

Phone them. You can almost always get a live person when you call during business hours. They are usually willing to help.
Definitely call them. Explain what happened to the operator or the person you reach and they will switch you over to the person that can help.

Oh, wonderful! Thanks so much for all your help. smiling smiley
They may still be using rotary dial phones (recently upgraded from crank phones), but they do answer the phones and are helpful.

frugalmommy, you will find two sets of opinions concerning Maritz. One considers them old fashioned and behind the times and the other appreciates phone communication over email. Suggest you be your own judge.

Today I Will Choose Joy!

"Finally, whatever things are good, true, noble, lovely, of good report...if there be any virtue, if there be any praise...think on these things." ....It's a command, not a suggestion!
They're a bit lacking since their variety of pigeon went extinct. Best contact method is not to do so in the first place.

Why can't it be both? They're still way behind the times but I do love being able to call them. They're my only MSC I keep on speed-dial.

Wait.. Speed-dial?? Is it still called that?

Seriously, nobody cares that you're offended.
I have them on speed-dial also. But come to think about it, I haven't dialed a phone in years. Maybe it's called speed-button or speed voice now.

My ancient four-year-old flip phone says it is, but it also refuses to admit that it's old-fashioned and behind the times.

Can I just share that it's utterly hilarious to see a kid who thinks that all phones are mobile detach the cord from a wired handset and wonder what happened? Because that was totally my kindergartener this weekend.

Haha! That's so cute. On a similar thread: We don't have cable TV in my house because it's a waste of money IMO. I subscribe to Hulu and Netflix, and we watch YouTube, too. My kingertener has only ever known instant streaming on these platforms. We were at a friend's house where cable TV was on. When the show paused for a commercial break, she looked stunned and asked, "What happened?!" It was the first time she'd seen a commercial and I had to explain to her what it was tongue sticking out smiley
Got rid of my tvs all together. lol
