Avoid NSS Pizza Photo Shops

This has to be the rudest company I have dealt with! A month after I send in my shop they tell me it isnt being accepted b/c of one of the photos. This is the same photo angle that has been accepted many times in the past and matches exactly their instruction photo. Its one thing not to be paid for a shop but another to pay out 2x what you normally pay for a pizza, have to hack it up and not be paid. They refused to review the photo again or review the response I sent in showing side by sides of past photos and their own photos that were exact copies. Calls to them were met with rude people who could care less. Avoid this one unless you want to waste your time and spend big $ to get nothing.

I have done many shops over the years with this company and have never had a problem?
I've only done one pizza shop with them and did not have a problem, but I have read of others who experienced rejected photos that were normally accepted.
It seems all of a sudden they are rejecting people with no explanation and refuse to return your email or phone calls.
Perhaps they are getting some pushback from the client on the photos.

I think it's well established that this particular pizza client is a pain in the a** with regard to photos.

I seen that shoppers either love or hate the pizza shops. I hate them....with a passion.

So far I love them, but threads like this always make me nervous. I've done dozens of them for the other MSP that known for doing them and only one for NSS and so far I haven't had one refused. But I see these threads every so often and it makes me wonder when I will have one refused. I don't eat or like that pizza so I really can not afford to be out the reimbursement.
I have done a number of them or NSS and have found them great. Not only do I really like that pizza, but with the bonus, it pays well. I have probably made close to $400 off these shops.
NSS has never paid more than a reimbursement here. No shop or bonus fee so it really sucks to be out for a mangled pizza. If the client is that big of a pain and they do not want to support their shoppers in what is right then I have no use for them ---spending $$$ for nothing. I did those shops for yrs with the other company and never had a problem. Maybe that is why they are bonused so much in some spots, you burn enough people rejecting the shop a month after the fact no one will be willing to risk being out the $$$.
I wonder if the client knows that "mangled pizza shop" is accepted jargon in our industry and discussion groups :^)

I doubt they would find it as funny as I do if so.

Have NEVER had a problem, they are easy to work for. Will never do the pizza shops, I stay away from photo's.....but do many others monthly, have 2 Sat., and 2 Tues., they pay well, bonus me regularly, and I always reach someone by phone.

Me too... been shopping for them for 3 yrs, and they have been good to me. I always manage to get someone on the phone, or leave a message, and they get back to me.

It all depends on the person who you deal with, I suppose for my area, the scheduler is pretty good.

And isn't it interesting that most food shops ask whether the food was appetizing, properly prepared, tasted good etc. while these guys just want to know if the dough rose evenly.

I just find out I have been deactivated by NSS. Why, I am not quite sure. I called today and they said someone will call me back. Lets see if they are just lying to me or not. I retract what I just said above that I have never had problems with them. Will update after I speak with NSS.

They owe me over $200, and I wonder if I will ever get paid...
I have always been paid on time (per their ICA agreement timeline) by this company. Sequoaa, when did you shop for them?

They inactivated me too! What a LOW tactic! They refuse to communicate you, stick you with the bill for their shop and then inactivate your account! Like I would have ever took a chance with them again!
Shoppers Beware! There is no reasoning with people who REFUSE to listen or even get back to you!
There is only one pizza shop on my area and they prefer delivery not carryout.

They have several in my area. I have so much pizza in my freezer. I will never be able to eat it all:-)
I deleted this company because I could never get paid for the pizza shops. There was always some excuse with the pictures. I never have trouble with pictures I have a 14 megapix camera and they were very clear to me. Don't need this one.
I have two of the pizza company around my area, but NEITHER one of them say I'm in their delivery area, so I'm out of luck. I did them all the time when the other MSC had them and never had problems with them accepting my photos, and they would allow us to do an order-in, take-out scenario if we didn't live within their delivery area. My grandchildren and I ate many pizzas and I got many bonuses. I do kinda miss them now. sad smiley

I used to do this shop all the time without problem, then my last shop was rejected because the pictures suddenly weren't up to their standards. And just like Debmi, my photos were taken in the same way as all my previous reports. I sent an e-mail about it but never got a response back. I haven't worked for NSS since.
Bonuses??? At the end of this month they were offering a "bonus" of a chance to be one of five, you read it correctly*** five*** of the people who did this last minute shop near a holiday weekend at the end of the month would win $75. They said the five would come from this region. I did not even ask how many pizza shops were in this region. I can only imagine all of southern calif including arizona and nevada and new mexico perhaps. There must be hundreds. I did this shop once for another company and never again. I guess i am in the "hate it group" as it took an hour just to get the picture right, but for the offer of $75 I called them until I found out the bonus was only for the lucky 5.
The pizza shops are a pain because of the photos. I had it happen to me twice so not doing any more pizza shops for them. At least you got an email I didn't get anything just didn't get paid and they would not respond when I questioned it. Well I did hear back on one but not on the second one. I too used to do this shop all the time with bonuses and no problem. Then one day my photos were also not up to standard. Like the others my photos were taken in the same way and I even compared it to their sample. I emailed them and complained that they could have contacted me for another photo of which I had several. I am guessing they did not like my comment and that is why they did not respond.
