Intellishop Cuts Pay Rates Again

I was frustrated, but my story has a happy ending.

My biggest beef with Intelli-Shop is that I almost never receive replies to anything.

One of their shops was a circuit, but one of the locations was over 400 miles away from the other four. It was a typo in the address which made it appear to be close.

I tried emailing the support address from my welcome email. It bounced.

I tried calling, but couldn't find a number on their website.

I found a number on their Facebook page, but that went to a full voice mailbox.

I sent an email to the person listed as the scheduler. He wrote back saying "Sorry, but that route is what the client wants." Not a chance that anyone would take it.

After a week went by, I wrote back asking again, and this time I was told to just apply for it and he would take out the bad location. I did that and went back to check in a few days and my application was deleted.

I tried applying to other shops, but they were all removed from my applications. I finally talked to a different scheduler who told me that my account was "secretly disabled". I asked him if he had contact information for the company that worked. He didn't, but I managed to find a non-toll-free number.

I called it. First ring, it was answered by a helpful woman. I explained what happened, and she said that the person who takes care of this was on another call, so I should leave a message on his voicemail and he would get right back to me. Within a day, I had an email from him apologizing for the trouble and indicating that he had reactivated my account.

TL;DR: Don't count on replies to calls or emails, but they seem to pay reliably if you do a shop.

Yeah, I have never had to chase my money. I am not going to deactivate myself just because most of the time they have shops that aren't worth my time. I just click on delete if the shop isn't worth doing, and if it's something that is going to pay well and seems interesting, I will do it.
I am cutting more and more it Intellishops out of my life because of low pay and high expectations. But that's my option, if they never get experienced shoppers eventually they will get the message or start losing clients. The important thing to remember here, we get to choose and if the price for the shop isn't revealed until you sign up, just contact your scheduler cancel but tell them why. If enough people tell them they won't work that cheap, they will get it eventually.
I have never seen a shop where the price wasn't revealed before I accepted it. When you click onto the link to apply for the shop, the information about how much it pays is right there.
Intellishop is one of my favorite MSC's. Last month I racked up some huge bonuses doing credit union shops, probably my most favorite assignments as they are quick and lucrative. Payment has always been prompt, and 99% of the time their schedulers are responsive.
