Thanks for the feedback. For those who have done oil change shops for Bestmark, how long is the report? What is included? Thanks.
The reports are a little long, but not terribly so. There's some but not much narrative involved. Really, the worst part of the shop is waiting for the oil change to be finished. I find that the location I go to for these shops is much slower than the "Quick Lube"-type places. On the other hand, I also get most of the report finished on my phone while I'm waiting for my car to be done. I have two cars that qualify for these shops and I take one every time they are due for an oil change.
Edited to add:
You should always be a little wary when taking your car in for service. No matter where you go. While it is certainly not Bestmark's fault, and was probably not intentional on the part of the client, the last time my oil was changed the dealership forgot to put the oil cap back on tightly. After a few weeks it wiggled it's way off and disappeared. My God! The stink! I thought my car was on fire!!
Luckily it was an easy fix and no damage was done, but it did cause me to have to reschedule a whole day's worth of shopping to take my car into the mechanic. From now on, I'll be sure to open the hood and check the cap
