I find this company very lax in answering when you apply. I'm getting a little parinod as I worked for them alot last year, and now have trouble getting scheduled. Thoughts on this company!!

I've done a few shops for them. The only thing I see here is mall gift cards. Not many and don't regularly monitor their site, but have gone to their site each time they send an e-mail saying they have shops, and each time I have been assigned a shop pretty close to home. The reports are reasonable. They pay on time. I haven't heard much after reporting, never any questions, they just e-mail and and say thanks and give me a 10. I like them.
I do medical office visits and airport circuits for this company. Everyone has been very responsive and helpful. If you have a "10" rated shop report from them, frame it! That, from their editing standards, is a really, really perfect, report. Shop reports that would be 10s with many other companies will be 8s or 9s with them.

And, they pay twice a month for all shops accepted within a few days of the payment date.

Yes, they are super picking in their editing. A missed quotation mark on one end of a sentence will get you a 9.

At first I was a bit put off by their editors' notes. However, that is more than made up for, in my opinion, by the helpfulness and fairness of every scheduler that I have encountered there. I just did a route where the client did not specify which of 2 locations, a few hunderd feet apart, was to be shopped. It was a weekend, so no one to call for clarifications. I picked the wrong location. My scheduler agrees that the client should have specified, so I will be paid for my report. I can go back in a couple of days to do the other location. And, every scheduler that I have spoken with has done the very assignments that I am now doing, so they really understand the challenges and are willing to empathize. It is fast becoming my very favorite MSC.

When I worked for them at our newer Americana Mall, I usually got an 8. I'm thinking they have alot of shoppers, as that mall is great and fun. Think I'll call them, and see if I can get any input as to why I haven't gotten jobs lately.

Great company. I love working for them. The pay is fair, if not generous. I do dry clean shops for them and love it! Wish there was more of a variety in my area. The schedulers are terrific, in my experience and are always there for you.
It took me months to get my foot through the door with them. I kept applying and applying but never got any jobs... until 7 months later, when they needed someone to do 2 jobs pre-security at the airport close to New Years, and I guess no one was available. (Goes to show you, apply, apply, apply and hope to one day be rewarded for persistence.) Anyway, I got 9's for both, which I guess it pretty good. Now I am starting to get more shops with then.

I like them. They pay fast and seem very reliable and responsive.
Getting 10s with CSE is really hard to do. If can't miss a comma...still love this company.
I don't "love" this company, but I like them. Certain schedulers there are super easy to work with. I dislike that you have to state exactly what day you will go when yo apply for a shop, and then if you need to change it, have to write back. They are good about doing it, if you live in their time zone. I live as far out from it as one can and still be in the states, so it is frustrating for me. I like having a window of dates that I can rearrange as I put new things into my schedule. I LOVE that they post their shops well in advance, and assign fairly quickly, unless you are being held in back up mode for whatever reason. I love that they pay very promptly and I never have to guess when my pay will come. I think they should relax their editing just a bit. For certain shops they have here, which are few in general, I can NEVER get a 10. For others, I always do.
I dislike having to mail receipts for purchases. I do not trust that my only "real" copy of a receipt will arrive, and then I am stuck with only a scan for the IRS, should I need it. Overall, they are good. Just not my fav.

Wow. Did my first shop for them less than a week ago and was paid last night. Probably got lucky and fell within the right time frame, but still, I'm impressed.
Yes, they pay twice a month for all shops done in the preceeding half month. Ya gotta love it!

I do agree. I've only done a few shops for them, but my last one was a 9. The memo said it was a very well written report with a lot of detail. BUT, I did not capitalize the A in associate so therefore it was just worthy of a 9.
When I get a 9 from them, it is always over a nit like that. Or that I did not use quotes in the small text box where you are expected to answer, "What exactly did the associate say about blah blah blah?"

You just have to figure that a 9 with a pleasant editor comment from them is like an 11 from any other company. They are well aware of that and regard anyone who has 8s and 9s as a really, really top quality shopper.

And with this company, does it seem to make a difference in securing good shops in the future? I know that if scores are low, it makes a difference with companies, but I really haven't sensed preferable status having high scores. Perhaps SLIGHTLY, but nothing at all significant.

Boy, I must have gotten really lucky with CSE the first time out, LOL!
I have done several for them and gotten high scores on reports, fast pay and no problems. But now am having a problem and their communication stinks. I did an internet inquiry shop and, after turning in the report, got a request for a copy of the e-mail I received from the client. I sent it. Never heard anything more. Haven't gotten paid and it got beyond their usual pay (fast) period. I e-mailed and heard back a few days later from Jenn, who said she'd look into it for me. A week later, nothing.
I don't care about the 9 vs. my 10's. I get the shops I want from them. It just is annoying that they take off for something that they do not state in their sample forms or insructions. If you want associate used as a proper noun, or quotation marks used in the small text boxes, then say so *before* you take off points for it.

AM, that is unusual in my experience. Because of the 6 hour time difference between where they are and where I am, our communication usually stretches over more than one day, when I have needed to interact with them (which is practically never.) Weekends are the exception, when I think they are closed, so if I sent something on Friday, I don't hear back till Monday.

One time I did not get paid on time. I contacted them and the person looked into it and got back to me the next day. He said they had not received the receipt but would pay me immediately, but I needed to send an electronic copy to him, since the orginal appeared to be lost in the mail. I did and they did.

I wonder if your situation has a difficult client on the other end, and that is the reason for the delay? Yet, if so, they still should give you a timeframe.

Like I said, I must have gotten lucky with my first shop or editor...maybe both. I don't doubt that I'll experience what you're all talking about in the future.

Maybe I will e-mail Jenn back and say - ? -
Yes, I would send a follow up. :-)

Yes, I would do a follow-up. I have found Jenn to be very responsive.

When you have a good track record with this company, the rewards tend to be in getting first choice of the circuits, getting extra time to get your reports in when needed, and getting to schedule a circuit outside of the stated dates, to better suit your schedule. In addition, there are a few shopping assignments at the 4 airports that I do for them that never go on the job boards. These are doled out to the very most reliable of their high-scoring shoppers.

But that is a nebulous "reward". One must live in places or have a schedule that makes those viable "rewards". That for me would rarely if ever work.
