MATT LIASSE FROM INTELLI SHOP

This is an idiot scheduler who and I have the emails refused to pay me for several reasons one was he listened to a tape exchange (which I also taped) and interpreted the word "I have an apartment building and reside in an apartment there" as I rent an apartment. I believe that the actuary word is "HAVE" have means ownership. So when I argued that point he failed to relent or pay me. Next he sent me an email telling me I failed to visit the community, well the community in question is still under construction and a sticky note posted along with the shop instructions directed me THAT NO VISIT IS POSSIBLE BECAUSE THE COMMUNITY IS STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION. I made him aware of this and that is when he discontinued our exchange. This is a case where a scheduler is destroying a long term relationship in a heart beat because his interpretation of my swords is in error. Of course he is making his job of scheduling more difficult as well. I have not given up on this I am seeking information as to who his supervisor is. I would like very much to play my tape for that person. Which is where I am heading after making this post.

Thank you for registering with our forum to let us know about your problem with Matt and with Intellishop. Although I think your post is unnecessarily harsh to the point of "bashing," I am sympathetic and wish you luck in getting it resolved. Calling Matt an "idiot" is certainly rude and over-the-top. I can tell you that, having had dealings with Matt, he is definitely not an idiot. Although your post sounds poorly written and confusing, you do not sound like an idiot to me, so I am guessing you are just angry and calling names rather than really believing Matt is an idiot.

If you go to the main Intellishop page, you can select "Meet the Team," and the photographs and names of their top team members are shown. It should be easy for you to identify Intellishop's owner and Chief Client Officer. Anyone smarter than an idiot could probably find it, especially with the clue I just gave you.

Based on your wording, I can certainly see where there might be confusion about your meaning. I have not had any difficulties with Intellishop or with Matt.
I sympathize for your situation as well. Take a quick look at even their Facebook site, it's pretty easy to locate who's who in the company. Good luck on addressing the situation.

As for Matt, he's far from an 'idiot.' Before he got reassigned to other clients in the company, me and him worked together often. He was an amazing scheduler and quick to respond to any emails I had (even during the weekends, for a company that's a typical M-F culture!).

xfixer, after reading your post about Matt I suggest if you're looking for an idiot you may find one in the mirror.

Matt invalidated one of my shops recently. I do not think highly of him either.
Hey, at least he repsonded to you. That's more than I can say.
I know nothing about Matt but I will say that seeing the word responsive in describing anyone at Intellishop is quite surprising.

Who knows, maybe some of the schedulers there like me, for whatever reason tongue sticking out smiley

They are the only company that I can think of that I have ever viewed as completely non-responsive. As in I've emailed and left voicemails and never got a reply.

Hey y'all remember that shopper advocate that used to come on here and vow and declare they read and respond to every email and voicemail? ROFLMAO

Only problems I've ever had with Intelli Shop was with editors.

I don't shop for Intellishop and don't know Matt, so I think I can be pretty objective here. While I think the OP's comments were unnecessarily negative, it's clear that "I have an apartment building and reside in an apartment there" means he owns it or has a financial interest in it. I understood that the minute I read the sentence, without having to read the rest of the explanation (although, of course, I did). Anyone who simply rents an apartment in a building wouldn't say he or she "has" a building.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
I would also interpret "I have an apartment building" as you own it. I have also had bad experiences with Matt. He was rude, condescending, and not helpful at all. It took 6 emails to get a response from him which was odd. All I wanted was clarification on the guidelines of an assignment and he just kept muddying the waters instead of clearing it. I try not to shop with them for that reason and they're cheap.
it is amazing how we all have different experiences. Intellishop has a real mix of responsive versus non-responsive schedulers. The only communication I recall having with Matt was quite positive. After explaining I might be interested in trying a shop posted regularly in my area, he agreed to send me the guidelines. I was not offering to take a current shop, just evaluating the assignment to see if it would interest me on the future.

I have had no problem with any Intellishop scheduler. Though I would not say that about some iffy editors, but that was in the past (knock on wood). I just try to do occasional shops for them.
I received an email from him yesterday titled "$90 Shop". When I opened the email the shop paid $30. This is not the first time Matt has sent this type of bait-and-switch email.

Have you emailed him clarifying this and what was his response, if you received one?

No doubt there was a $30 fee and a $60 reimbursement for some service, etc. I know many companies that do this. I see it most with grocery shops and vehicle service shops. I wouldn't call it bait and switch, but it is definitely a deceptive way of getting you to open their emails. I find it has a negative effect on my perception of the company and their shopping offerings.

I have had no problems with Intellishop personally. Most of what I have done are convenience stores and have had no issues.

Could I have a receipt please?

Never mind my post then. I understand what they mean now. It's a misleading to recruit people, indeed.

The only issue I have ever had with Intelli-Shop is when doing a specific pizza delivery shop. I had to upload pictures, and though my pictures were to their specifications, the system would not take them, and though my scheduler said it was a common issue (unsure if it's Matt or someone else) I still had points taken off for them having to correct it. It was not my fault and that did not seem fair. I've never had a problem with any other kind of shop with them or responsiveness, except for the damn pizza ones.
The hell did I just sread?

Nope. This was either an Apartment Shop or a Retirement Home Shop. I forget which. In either case, there was no reimbursement involved. And it has happened more than once from this same guy. The first time I assumed it was an honest mistake, but now,,,
I got one the other day advertising a shop for a few outlets at a casino, including a high-end prime rib restaurant with a high reimbursement (no shop fee). When I clicked through the link, the shop was for different outlets, including 2-3 fast food joints. No prime rib restaurant. Still no shop fee. =(

I had a problem with the system not letting me edit a shop to comply with editor requests. Matt responded promptly, on a weekend, and was helpful. This was my first shop with him as scheduler, as I recall.
