Circle of Service -- email received today 1/5/16 -- is this kosher??

Hi all,
I've been MS since 2005, and have never received an email asking me to give the person what I would
like as my password!! So, here is the email I received....anyone else received this??? Now, true, I haven't done a lot of MS over the years, but enough to make me wonder WHY someone would want me to directly give them what would be MY password, and hence, access to my personal information....it's a gmail address, so it just makes me wonder....

Attention Shoppers:

Please note Circle of Service is a dual platform Mystery Shopping company. We utilize the Prophet and Shopmetrics systems. If you have not logged into the Shopmetrics system you are missing out on shop opportunities.

If you are interested and would like to see available shops in the Shopmetrics System please email jessica.hames@circle-of-service.com a preferred password. Once the system is reset you will receive a confirmation email and can begin scheduling shops.

We look forward to hearing from you!

If you read the email, she asks you to reply to her Circle-of-Service domain email address, not the gmail address. And, she didn't ask you for a password you already use, she asked you for a password you would like to use for the new shopmetrics site. She just wants to assist you in getting on board for the new website, as all of us are currently signed up on their Prophet site. I would say it's legit.
Thank you, JASFLAMT. I do feel better about it, but will sit on it for a while. I might try to see if I can apply
by going to the Prophet site and see if there is a link to the Shopmetrics site. But thanks again!
I got this email today too. I have shopped for Circle of Service before and was aware of their switch to shopmetrics while still being on Prophet.
I sent her a password I wanted to use, she emailed me back thanking me and giving me a link to the shopmetrics site with a request I log in and see that my info is accurate.
I login and sure enough all my old info from the Prophet site (that I did NOT provide to this scheduler in this email btw) was entered into my profile correctly.
I don't think it's something to be concerned about. They're just trying to recruit shoppers and get the old ones on board with the new system.
Ditto to what N-TownShopper wrote. I also received a confirmation email after emailing my password to her with a link to the new Shopmetrics site for that company. And I also asked her if the Prophet site was going away. She said no, they will be using both platforms.
I thought this was strange: Her email address: Jessica Hames <jessicalhames@gmail.com> It made me wonder at first. I did not go through with or provide any information.
Right Sunny, but that's not the email address she asked for us to respond to. It was her Circle-of-Service domain email (which is what she should have used to begin with so as to not arouse any suspicions).
I am not with this company but for most sites you can go in and change your password after your account is set up if you are at all worried. Email can be hacked so you might want to change it just in case.
You can't reset the password if you don't have an old one. I run into that problem with companies that switch to shopmetrics frequently.
