Did Coyle Just Switch Over To Shopmetrics Entirely?

I just attempted to sign on to Coyle's main sight and just got sent to Shopmetrics. Has anyone else had the same experience?

They have been slowly migrating to SM for a while now. If you haven't been checking there, you were missing most of their opportunities. Apparently they are fully migrated now.

Thanks, isaiah58. Have definitely been on Shopmetrics - just surprised with the seemingly ultimate migration. Great that I don't have to check both sites now.
The Shopmetrics migration is complete, and the old Coyle website has been retired. As far as comments, grammar, etc, here's the rule of thumb for Coyle -- NO and N/A scores should have a 3-5 word comment in the text box confirming the missed standard. All standards scored as YES should be specifically commented on in the narrative for that section. This is not always the case, however; some forms do not have narratives. For those, the comments should be detailed and in complete sentences in the text boxes. Most editors are fair with their scoring, but you can always contact a manager or their Support, and someone will review them.
They have a link that gives you an example of what they expect in the report. The narrative that they look at with the most criticism is the kitchen section. Each item that is served is required to be explained in its own paragraph. Be sure to also include who ordered the particular item, you or your guest.
They are also big on quotes made by the server, bartender, hostess....etc.
Some of the reports can have as many as 200 questions with very detail required narratives in each section. Eventually you will get the hang of it...be prepared to spend 1-2 hours on the reports.
The biggest issue I find is that you can apply for an assignment and it can sit in your application basket for as long as 2 weeks. Then it either disappears or you do get assigned to it. The problem with this is that you could be missing out on other opportunities with other sights waiting so long to get assigned. The one thing that is good about this system is that anytime prior to being assigned you can cancel your application.
Scheduling is done 'by hand' and there are hundreds to schedule each month. It can take weeks to schedule shops, because client specifications, contract deadlines, and evaluator rotation must be considered. There can be 20 evaluators applying for a single assignment, and they try to balance new with experienced. The Coyle Resource Center is an excellent tool to learn more about the requirements for submissions.
My only complaint about the ShopMetrics migration is that they don't have it set to give an error if you miss a required comment. I find the ShopMetrics interface hard to always catch that I've filled everything out I need to so being able to get an error if I've missed something is a huge help.
I spend approximately 3 hours on the reports. I hope to get faster at completing reports, but wanted to be realistic in telling others how long it may take them.
Here is that link for the Resouce Center: [coyleapps.com]
You may need to sign into shopmetrics to see it.

I've been working with Coyle for years and the old system and the new both have their advantages and disadvantages. I really liked being able to separate the restaurant shops from the hotel shops- do you know if there's any way to do that with the shopmetrics software?

I agree that for scheduling it's still a big problem. They need to expand the filtering options for evaluators looking for shops. While there's no designation that I know of between hotel and restaurants in their system, if we could filter out shops that paid less then $20 or reimbursed less than a certain amount, it would make it easier to find assignments.

And while you can't separate out the hotels, you can view just one particular client at a time....
Mis, if you search by payment amount, the hotels will generally group. Additionally, they're bolded so you can do a quick scan.

Now scheduling travel shops for the day after Christmas through mid-January.

How do you do that, if I might ask? I remember that when the weather's nice they sometimes put up a lot of B&B's that are represented by a single client, and it'd be nice to plot them out on a route for a little roadtrip.
Your can select a particular "Survey", but often the hotels each have their own survey.
