The Old CRI and those Yellow and Blue gas shops( I think I give up)

Has anyone had any problems with this company's new and apparently only editor? I have done almost 2000 of these jobs for this company and only recently be given reports back because a lack of overall comments at the end of the surveys. I am being asked to be redundant in my comments that have already been addressed at the question level. I am now spending 3 times as long submitting the reports than it takes to do them in the first place. I am ready to quit this company unless I can get this editor to back off a little I know she is new and very ambitious and is trying to get ahead quickly, but not at my expense.
Any advice?

I received an email from the editor stating that the company being shopped has requested that an overview of the shop be included at the bottom. None of my shops were returned, though. I only do these when bonused, so the extra work isn't going to make me quit going them, at least not yet. I really wish they would get a "save" button, because I often end up doing one report multiple times before I can get it submitted using wireless internet. I sometimes have the same problem at home, but not nearly as often as when I'm on the road trying to do the reports before midnight at a hotel with glitchy internet service. I threaten to quit over that many times, but only in my own head.

When did this start happening to you? I did a bunch in late February that weren't any different then the prior months. This month I haven't done anything yet with them as I don't bother with them until the 20th of months.
Did this just start happening in March?

I don't think she's the only editor, but does seem to be the supervisor who serves as the contact.
I did my last shop on February 25 and it was graded right away with no problem. I got the email within a day or two that, but I can't seem to find it now, which is strange because I never delete emails. I'[ll keep looking.
I believe it's Expert Solutions now, before that I think it was Stericycle. Before that it was Corporate Research International (CRI) which many referred to as Cori. I may have the sequence wrong. I don't keep up as I don't do anything with them. I shopped heavily with CRI and then after they sold out I drifted off elsewhere as they lost clients and had little to offer. I don't know what they have now, haven't checked them out in ages.

Mary Davis Nowell. Based close to Fort Worth. Shopping Interstate 20 east and west, Interstate 35 north and south.
I have swallowed my pride after venting to a scheduler, so I'm good now .

I didn't complete an assignment yesterday because the overall photo would have been across the street during a snow storm and it didn't feel safe. I called Sam and he never returned my call. Tried to submit without the photo and it wouldn't let me. I'm done unless they beg me to come back.
Let me guess her name begins with a M. I have had the same issues so I have just spent more time on the reports but the shops pay so little I am wondering if it's worth my time.

I am so glad to read that I am not the only one. I was feeling particularly persecuted by "M".
@janalou she's a little better this month since a lot of their shops weren't getting done in my area. I waited till they uped the commissions and started doing them when they hit 15 dollars and she's been fine so far.
I do believe thing are getting better.

Have to chime in here.. (NJ mystery shopper here) I thought it was just me but "M" is a pain my ............. She is a little TOOO extra with it. I hope "M" from CRI or expert solutions reads these.. I was thinking I was going nuts....
Yikes I'm worried now. I did 2 of these gas station assignments earlier this week. How long does it normally take them to review the reports?

At the end of the month, it usually takes them a day or two longer then usual. I did three on Wednesday though that were reviewed and accepted Thursday night. Sometimes it may take three days or so if you are doing them on the last day of the month. I haven't noticed any difference in their expectations with these shops though I have always given a summary in overall comments. I've never had an issue with "M". She's contacted me a few times about clarifications, but she is professional and just doing her job, in my opinion.
I am going to have to do my own checklist cuz their reports are soooooo old. They have not changed the reports since 2007. We have to give comments under each section... oh yea and then rewrite everything we just typed in the above sections plus the do the photos. One issue is the time on the receipt. I have gotten 3 emails about the times being different then what I reported in the shop. POP staid the same .... report yes and the credit card apps .....report yes even if they do not have them. Hmmm ok >>> then why don't you put that in the new report they should be making. If you print the report they have on the website, you will still get emails from the editor cuz the report is NOT "fast and accurate." Another issue is she emailed me and asked me for a photo of a missing element at the pump. The location had no window washing supplies so I marked no. She asked me for a photo. I replied I was confused as to how I can show something that is not there. She had wanted me to take a photo of a trash can. Oh ok. smiling smiley
yes I do a few a month so I've gotten used to her and know what she actually wants in the report.
I would probably give them some time to get their crap together. Then, if things didn't change I would find another company. Maybe the new lady just needs a little time. Good! luck to you! Let us know about you.
