Revisiting ISecretShop levels

So my old thread has been closed on this topic. Since the thread, I am currently at 1230 points, Special Agent status, and the ability to self assign 4. I'm curious who is at the next level of 5 and how many points it took to get there... Anyone?

Funny thing happened to me yesterday with ISS. I applied and received a shop that was the keystone to a road trip I was planning....so, of course, I booked the rest of the trip...some personal business, mostly shops...ISS sends me an email yesterday afternoon canceling the shop, saying i didn't complete it on time.....it was due the day before I applied for it...hmmmm....ISS is funny sometimes

I'm up to a whopping 175 points! And I can self assign 1. But they have very little that interests me in my area. When baseball season comes back around next spring, then I'll pick up some more.

I have 1250 points. I currently have 14 shops scheduled. For one particular MSC, I contact them directly with a route I want to put together. They assign me to the shops. It's such a stupid rule when they represent a multitude of companies. I worked for the MSC in question prior to them signing with ISS - they had no restrictions on the number of assignments you could select. Leads me to think ISS makes that rule, not the MSC that use their platform. ISS definitely doesn't promote route shopping.

Yes!! It's so frustrating. I apply and try to track down the scheduler but it's so time consuming when all I had to do was accept shops before, the more the merrier. At least the second you submit a shop, you are free to self assign another. Though I am finding some that aren't self-assign no matter how many the app claims you can do. That could happen and has happened to me with any company. Were you able to explain it and get it back? Chances are they still need someone to do the shop!

SST - Yes, I got it back, but no one bothered to email or call me when I informed him of the quirky date snafu...I wanted to complete two or three others on that trip, but I have NOW been told that I cannot do more than 3 shops for the same client in 30 days.....rotation rule, I guess...the problem is I haven't shopped this client for three months! Maybe this is not worth my time.....I may just have to cancel....

I have 390 points and allow to self assign 3 shops. There aren't that many shops in my area.

Joined over two years ago and have shopped for the companies on the site but I got them from the individual companies website. I think I might have 175 points and have had that since I took some of the certs for them but it ain't no biggie.

I'm at 730 points with a self assign limit of 2. The most I've had at once is 12.

I must be reading things wrong... with iSecretShop, I have 419 points and self-assign 3. I like these shops because they are more organized in answering questions which means less jumping through hoops, but I do not do many of them--just not cost effective for most jobs.

I have 1495 points and can self-assign four shops. I find it amazing that someone ("Andrea B" according to the iSecret website) could have amassed 39,505 points. My paltry 1495 represents $936 lifetime income, so extrapolation (always dangerous) suggests that Andrea has earned about $24,733 which I find mind-boggling. San Jose must have a lot more iSecret shops than may area. I am also puzzled (?) that no one on this Forum seems to be able to self-assign more than 4 shops. I too have sometimes had more than 4 assigned at a time, but it took intervention from a scheduler. Did you notice that "Karen R" is ranked #10, and has 1/3 the number of points of the leader?

I reach 1550 this weekend and am now rated as Section Chief. I presume this means I can now have more than four?

Edited to say: WTF I was only given a new title with 1550 points. I still am only allowed to self-assign 3 shops according to the website. I guess I'll write and complain that others with less points are permitted to take 4.

On the mobile app, the number of permitted self-assign shops shows up on the start screen immediately after the line that shows your "title". I am not sure where the find that information on the web page.

Remember if you reach your self-assign limit you can always put in requests for any other shops you would like to complete.

I do but they get scooped up more times than not. Especially the good ones!

I just put the app on my phone and the app says I can assign myself to 7 shops now.

wow!! That's really good. But it makes no sense that you get that many when I'm not so far from you (1262) and only get four. Did you end up writing the company?

Not sure how this works because I have fewer than 500 points and a whole slew of shops that were heretofore hidden have now opened up. I did, however, take a "I'm desperate, please help me!" shop last month without gouging the pleading scheduler. Wonder if it is scheduler-driven? It doesn't seem to be about points.

How can you tell how many you can self-assign? I don't see a limit.

Now scheduling travel shops for the day after Christmas through mid-January.

I've had two shops for the same company, same type of shop, canceled because they keep closing the locations. It stinks but thankfully they do it the next day, not the day of the shop! That stinks!

When I log in on the app, it welcomes me at the top, states my score, my rank, and the number of self assigns I have. I am not sure how to see it on the website.
