What happened to Inside Evaluators?

Yes...number 3 applies here. There has been NO explanation why I haven't been paid yet. I was due to be paid January 5 per THEIR guidelines and I haven't yet. It's as simple as that.

It's all just awful. I haven't been paid since July and it's one of those things that really gets to you. It's a negative situation that I don't need in my life but I won't give up until I'm paid, so I just keep emailing Joan and Gary. Persistance = Passion.
Yes, it is awful. I was told that they were catching up on October and November payments back in January so the fact that you haven't been paid for July is especially concerning. Can anyone who was supposed to get paid in October or November confirm they were actually paid?
I did a really expensive shop for them back in November. Payment was due January, nothing yet. Replies met with, information provided to our accounting department, and that's it. Any idea how many have not been paid?
From the responses here so far, it looks like zero. Either they are extremely incompetent or huge liars. It is hard to figure it out which one. The excuses are really getting old.
Customer support phone # is still disconnected, so I would say it is not looking good! I have submitted several inquiries with no response.
It is a shame that their accounting department or owner/president of the company won't step in to make any assurances or give any explanations.
I am also due payment from Inside Evaluators and made several attempts to my contacts. In the past, IE has paid, even if it took 2 months. This is the first time I've ever chased a mystery shop company for payment.
We know who the clients are. Basically, they've been getting "free" reports after we spend HOURS writing for them. I've seen posts from another mystery shop company. I don't blame them for switching.
What is the other mystery shop company you are speaking of? I've never had to chase a shopper company for payment before either? And they all pay thru PayPal with no problem. My shop was very expensive and labor intensive. Due to their six or seven page profile of each section of service it took me over 6 hours

And another 5th of the month has passed with no payments. I just looked at their job board and they have NOTHING on the horizon. I think this company is a sinking ship. The owner is a deadbeat who doesn't have the courage to face the many shoppers who did legitimate work for him to explain why payments haven't been made. Joan, who had been really good at responding to my emails, has not responded to my most recent email. I have filed a complaint with the St. Louis Better Business Bureau and I recommend everyone else who is owed a payment do the same.

Great, please leave it to Gary to initiate payment to my invoice to him. You can back out, like you said you were going to. I wish you all the best.

I agree that Gary Tripp should have respect and communicate to unpaid and unreimbursed shoppers. Let's not hope it is a client issue because they are respected in Chicago.

@Firedude - Please email me again and provide the shop date and the location you shopped.
I will forward the info to Gary for further investigation.

Email sent with shop information as requested.

Just following up to see if anyone from this thread has gotten paid yet. I have not.
Apparently Joan has......

Yep, there's no other explanation as to why she would continue to work with Gary. She's getting hers, that's for sure.
That thought has crossed my mind, but I don't think that is the case. However, it is very odd that the owner of a company won't step in to handle this. I would think he would want to defend his company's name, and not let an independent contractor speak for him. I think they have folded and neither one will just come clean.

For someone who said she wasn't going to respond here anymore, you sure do seem to be compelled to do so. And now it just seems you want to antagonize people with legitimate claims to get paid. Why is that?
I didn't say I knew this. I said it was apparent. Meaning the statement has the appearance of being correct. Meaning most people who do not get paid for working for a company do not continue to work for them. Since you apparently continue work for them as you still post on their behalf, one could only assume you have been paid. Perhaps you have. Perhaps you haven't. I honestly couldn't care less as I don't have a dog in this hunt. I'm just an innocent bystander making an observation.
