Interesting Conversation with Cirrus

I did an enjoyable shop for Cirrus in June. In October, I started making inquiries about my payment. Payment came in October, and in November, I received an email letting me know that I had been paid.

I replied, "Yes, I was paid four months later. Would you work for a company who took that long to pay you?"

She apologized for the delay with the payment and said that mystery shoppers did this in their spare time.

Interesting. I am told that Mark Bray, famous for not paying shoppers on time (or ever) once told several folks that he could not be bothered much with people who thought $35 was worth getting upset over.

There has been a lot said about them on the forum. They did (your favorite), shop, no pay.
I haven't worked for them since my start, when I was a naive shopper and didn't know the difference...
didn't take long to catch on. I don't work for anyone that pays further out than 2 months. I'd rather work
for a company that is fair and respectable to their shoppers. Many pay within the following month.
i believe (my opinion only) they hire newbies, always find something wrong, and don't pay. Four months,
give me a f break.......sorry, the election got me, and CA legalized's marijuana.

Irene_L.A., please edit out the client's name. It is an ICA violation and against the forum rules to name a client where the name of the MSC has already been named.

Also, Mark Bray's MSC had nothing to do with the client she named. Just to clarify.

Hello? The name of the MSC is in the title of this thread AND HonnyBrown named the MSC in the first post to this thread. Then Irene_L.A. named one of said MSC's clients in her post which IS an ICA violation AND breaking a forum rule. I never said anything about Mark Bray.

HonnyBrown, stop trying to make a fire where there is no smoke.

Irene edited her post to remove the client name, that's why it looks OK now.
@HonnyBrown, thank you for sharing this conversation. It's always helpful to know who's looking at their shoppers as assets, and who's not.

Also, who is Mark Bray? What MSC is he associated with?

Actually the name of the client I mentioned is no longer with Cirrus....this was years ago when I did that (as I mentioned). Not wanting to give anyone a stroke, I took it out immediately. I knew they no longer work together, so, I get a pass.

I apologize. I didn't mean any harm. It's the editor in me about the punctuation thing, and I didn't know you really had glaucoma. I loved smoking when I was in my 20s and would still if it was legal in my state. I didn't realize you meant you needed it medically.

They are still shopped in my area by the same MSC mentioned in the title of this thread. Maybe it is a regional thing.

Or maybe everyone in Cali is too high to remember what MSC shops which client.

Once again, you are posting inaccurate information. This MSC is still shopping that client that was mentioned in Irene's post. Besides, it is a forum rule that we are not supposed to mention the MSC and client in the same thread/post. That includes past and present.

No one was insulted. Cut the drama. Irene, it's great that you continue to celebrate birthdays and you have reached 79. I plan to get there and also to celebrate many birthdays after 79. In this day and age, 79 is not ancient anymore.

There is no need for constant oversensitivity and drama.

My knees hurt like he** and other things are going too.... but I hope I never lose my sense of humor. I know people my age that don't have this darn OA but it is claiming me... But through it all, I try to put humor above everything!

It's a beautiful day outside and I have my reasons for being happier in the last few days. I wonder who will figure out what I am talking about..?
