iSecretShop as a limited resource?

I got introduced to iSecretShop because one of my regular MSC started posting their shops on there. From the new aggregate portal, I found another MSC who has clients that are places I would love to visit. However, the only locations I ever see posted for this one client are all far away from me, which is odd, because there is at least 5 locations closer. So that got me thinking: do the MSC only post shops on iSecretShop that they can't assign on their own site? Is it then worth it to sign up for the MSC independently of ISS? Or should I not go through the trouble?

Am I even allowed to sign up with the MSC again if I already accept their agreement on ISS?

I'm not sure I understand. Did you sign up with the MSC 'who has clients that are places I would love to visit'?
And you're still not seeing the jobs closer to you?
ISS will not affect your ability to access the MSC they represent directly. ISS is a platform just like Sassie is. The companies I work for thru them list all of their shops. GigSpot is the platform that blocks you out of the MSC boards.

Shopping up and down the Colorado Rocky Mountain front range.
This is a bit tricky, although I have done a few shops through ISS, the last restaurant I applied for was denied.
I wrote to Goodwin and they said they would assign me if it was still available. I also get emails directly from Goodwin and am then sent to ISS. I much prefer dealing directly with the MSC, as ISS has their own rules.
I still don't understand what the #'s mean, but I know you do have to go through ISS for many of the MSC's now. I also am sorry I signed with the Gigspot thing, something I am unable to do and now cannot get off.
Once you've signed your a member of the original MSC, just using their scheduling Co.

Live consciously....
Sometimes a chain will have an owner of some locations and not others, like some are franchise while others are corporate. That could be why you see some on another side of town, a different owner could operate those and not the ones closer to you.
I've still seen some MSCs use thei personal job board who offer shops through the ISS portal. It's confusing but very possible that these two things are happening and help to explain what you are seeing through the app.

Doing what I can to enhance the life of my family! I LOVE what I do smiling smiley

I have signed up and worked with them only via the portal, and not actually on their own site.
There could tons of reasons why the 5 locations closer to you aren't shopped... It could be a client choice, an owner choice, the owner doesn't own the 5 locations you're speaking of (like a franchise), etc.

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!
All the replies make sense. Thanks all for being so helpful. Another reason I just thought of could be that the shops closer to me have been assigned. I'll be quicker next time.
Guys, I found the answer to my own question. So at first I thought there was a difference between job posted on ISS vs the MSC's own site. I thought that ISS would show less jobs - ie, the harder to filled ones. But I just logged in and saw Jancyn for the first time on ISS, with a restaurant I wanted to check out. I went to Jancyn's site to apply directly, only to see the job not available there. Weird!
