Stericycle Quality Audit and Product Retrieval

Hello,

I currently mystery shop for Stericycle but I am interested in becoming an Expert Field Rep. Does anybody have any experience with this and can you describe it to me? What is the job like and how lucrative is it? Thank You.

Stericycle? I used to do some shops for them but I had forgotten about them. Maybe they did not have any shop in my area. I remembered the low fee and I can't recall anything about them to make the middle of my list. There was never a problem though.
Stericycle has a portal for quality auditors and product retrievers which is different from mystery shoppers. I think it relates to collecting pharmaceuticals and disposing of them.

The product retrieval division usually does product recalls, customer product complaints, product audits. I haven't experienced pharmaceuticals retrieval with them. You receive an email stating there are locations in your area that have whatever product. You read the instructions, photo guidelines and select the number of stores you can do in the time allotted. They pay time (administration, onsite, driving, printing, desctuction time if necessary etc ) and mileage. The work is detailed, but no more than regular mystery shopping, and requires uploading paperwork.
It's pretty fun and profitable.
They usually pay by the hour. The rate is low but they pay for drive time. Some recalls require specific product disposal procedures, which can be gross (think of emptying 500 cat food cans into plastic garbage bags in hot weather .) Sometimes you need dry ice or coolers if the products need to be returned. A friend of mine who lived in a small city found those items hard to find in winter.
