This is NOT the first time the server excuse has been used by them FYI.

I just emailed my scheduler as she requested because I still don't see a pay date. Glad to see it has been addressed but still very disappointed.

Still no excuse for this kind of delay. This is amateur night nonsense

Meh. Stuff happens. They're a pretty good company and nobody is perfect.

I understand that getting money when you expect it is important. My "not a big deal" remark was addressing the comment that being a few days late once made them a horrible and unprofessional company, which is about as true as you being a few days late on your rent once because of it makes you a bad renter.
Since you brought it up though.... $250 late fee!?!?!?!?! I seriously need to raise rates. My renters only have to pay a $25 late fee. If I might ask, what is your rent. Where I live you can't actually charge a late fee, but you can give a discount on rent for paying by a certain time. I believe there are limits on that even. I can't imagine $250 would fly in a lot of places.

Usually if you are between 0-9 days late, it's a 5% fee. If you're 10+ days late, landlords can charge 10%. Rent costs of $2,500 are common in many parts of the country.
