JMRidgway extra expenses question

So I did a shop where you had to email/call the company as it was one that would be at different locations depending on the event. For the specific one I chose, it ended up being more than 10 miles away from the original zip code. The guidelines said if that was the case, then you would still do the shop and they would pay you an additional $8. I let the scheduler know before and then after the shop. After I submitted the shop, I saw the extra $8 under 'additional expenses'. Now when I check, it has $0.
Has anyone had an issue with that MSC not paying for things like that? 12 miles doesn't sound like a lot but in the DFW area it is with traffic.

Did you check more than one mapping program to be sure it was more than 10 miles? Would they measure from zip code to zip code or zip code to actual location? I have found different sources offer different mileage so it make me wonder if that is an issue.

Out of curiosity I just used Google maps to get mileage from my zip code to an adjacent zip code with interesting results. Zip code to zip code the shortest route (also the slowest) was 7.2 with the fastest at 7.6. My zip to a specific location was 9 for the slowest and 10.5 for the fastest. At only 2 miles over, they could easily have come up with something at 10 miles or under. The only way to know is to contact them for clarification.

Well the truck location was by zip code only, and the park they were at did have a physical location. Perhaps if you calculate the closest part of the zip code to the park it might be just under 10 miles? I did email the scheduler again, haven't heard back yet. If that's the case I just won't do shops like that for them again.
I didn't give any location on the first calculation, just went with what Google chose. There wasn't any apparent rhyme or reason to Google's starting and ending points.

So I got a reply from Paula, the scheduler, and she said 'what are you talking about', and put a screen shot of the job that said 'finalized' but there is no payment info down on it at all. I hope that means she is wondering why I'm asking about the $8 and not saying there is no record of the job at all. :/
I replied to her almost an hour ago but haven't heard back yet. Argh.
Update: she texted me with a screenshot of her view...the $8 is there and I'm good to go. Whew, I've only been seriously shopping for a few months so I was worried.
Update: got paid today, no extra $8 for the job.
I emailed the scheduler again. :/
