MarketForce; why have you intentionally made your new website so annoying and user-unfriendly?

in addition to the new quirks you added to the website's most recent overhaul, there is one item in particular that is more annoying than the rest of the quirks, and it is unnecessary and causes me to login less often.

You have made it so that my browser will no longer remember my ID and password. That means that every time I try to login, I have to open the browser's tools menu, click the security option, open the saved logins, click to show passwords, type your URL into the search bar, click twice to get the login info, go back to your login page, and paste the items into the MF login page. There is absolutely no way I can memorize every single user ID and password for each one of the companies, especially those who insist on logins that nearly impossible to remember such as a string of meaningless random numbers. I wonder if anyone here had figured how to break MF's login save block, so I can just let my browser memorize the info and login with one click. Anyone?

My login saves when using Chrome for me (Windows 7, 8 and 10). It also saves on Safari on my iPhone.

There are bright sides to the changes... while it's more difficult to browse the available shops, i believe the reporting is much faster, in my experience.

Chrome remembers my password on my phone (Android) and laptop (Windows). There's no way I could remember the login id.
I rarely use Google Chrome, partly because it is so slow, not fast and lightweight like it was when first introduced. I like the interface and ability of Firefox to synchronize across devices. A paid webmaster should be able to build a website that works well on the top browsers (Firefox, MSIE, and Chrome) and not just on his browser of choice.

When I was a webmaster, I learned quickly that you either do that or lose audience to competition. If I am forced to use a certain browser for a special client, then that client will not be my favorite. That is pretty much what happened to CRI (now Stericycle I think), who made their website work only with MSIE.

It would help in the instance of MF if they would allow me to change the login info to something meaningful to me that I could easily remember.
I think my login is still saved in Chrome. However, I noticed that the webpages sometimes load slowly, and it can take a few tries to upload photos. I don't know if this has anything to do with the new design, or if MF servers are just overloaded at certain times of the day.
I use Firefox on my laptop, and have not had that happen to me, AZ. I can click on the user ID and it shows up, even with the new MF. Could there be something in your browser that needs updating or changing?? Have you worked with the security settings in your browser?? Just a thought. I hope you can get it straightened out.
I haven't done a shop on the new website yet but I sure hope they make it easier to review shops before submitting, like it used to be. I shouldn't have to go back through question by question.

I also just logged on and didn't have to have my password, though my MF is and password are pretty easy to remember.

I have version 53.0.3 which is the latest version. It saves login info on every website except MarketForce.
AZwolfman, I'm having the same problem. It's so annoying I haven't looked at the MF website for over a week.

That is actually the only problem I haven't figured out yet. I've been logging in at home on my computer, my phone and my tablet to marketforceshopper.com and it remembers my password and takes me to the new site shopper.marketforce.

However, it forced me to remember my user id. And that turned out to be a good thing because I've gotten some bonus calls lately and they asked for my user id in order to look at my account and do what it is they do and ba-bang I have a day and a half of shops that are worth two weeks of wages!
When you apply for a shop in which you have to answer the questions, you are assigned it upon successfully completing it. I was taken by surprise the first time.

You do not have to --->go back<----. If you are in the summary stage and you have to EDIT. Go to the EDIT and SAVE after the edit. It will take you to the next page, but at the top of the page is the report, image, summary, and cpi banner. Click on Summary, that will take you back to the summary page. You do not have to go back through each question.

You can cancel the shop if you do not want. It is not a "in all to be all". Secondly, read the shop details before you accept the shop.

It's not the password that is the problem; MF will let you change that. It's that ridiculous, meaningless string of numbers that is the user ID that they will not let you change.
I usually don't even log into the new website... I just go to the mobile site, which is much better.
I would not say the mobile site was better; it is just more convenient than lugging around my desktop pc with its 2 wide screen 24' and 28" monitors that allow me to work on 4 documents simultaneously.
It's seven digits so you can put it in your phone as a phone number until you'e memorized it. I'm sure they don't want your roommate, spouse or whoever uses your computer, phone or tablet to have instant access (anymore).
Like I said, remembering my password is not a problem. The problem is that they will not let me change my user ID to something meaningful. Yeah, changing my password or user ID to my phone number would limit those who could access it to about 40 or so people. I have a password on my pc that will not allow access to anyone who does not enter my password. MF is not the only company I work with, and I cant realistically be expected to remember a unique login for each of the hundreds of companies. But really, I have realized since my original post that the new website has several worse user-unfriendly elements than the login page.
I memorized my user ID for both MF and Maritz years ago. How else am I going to log onto the sites when I'm away from home? Numerous times I needed to look up guidelines when 50 miles away from my laptop.
Your browser on your smartphone can store your logins. You can also upload guidelines, your own Word docs, photos, questionnaires, and other things to Dropbox and view them on your smartphone when away from home.
Yep, working with MF, Maritz, SecretShopper, and Sterycycle means you have to either memorize the user ID they assigned you or keep a cheat sheet. Maybe there's more than these 4 that use a numerical user ID but I can't think of more offhand. My browser remembers my user id and automatically enters it for me when I reach their site. Even on my phone and my tablet, the user ID is auto-entered so it hasn't been a problem.

Actually, for those of us that have been around a while, it's only six digits. A phone should still accept it as a "phone number" though.
According to Mozilla, a website author actually CAN make a browser not remember login info. I did a little searching and found a procedure that will apparently override this. Just perform this 5-step adjustment once, set it once and forget it. I can now go directly to my MF available shops page without looking up my login info. I only wish I could solve some of the other MF website issues, but their webmaster would have to do that. If anybody wants the secret to overriding MF's override of Firefox's pw remember function, just PM me and I'll give it to you.
