Cori ripped me off!

I did a shop for them, submitted the report on time and also sent pics... got a confirmation number and today I see the same job is on the board so I email them. Teresa says they sent me an email but I have yahoo and they have problems with it. No one called and no one emailed. They are saying I did not send an in store receipt but I did. They have always called me if they didn't get pics or something. I have to send them pics again in the past. This time it was a receipt but they didn't even ask... they invalidated my shop with no pay. Cori sucks.

Call them back tomorrow. Ask for the Shopper Liason. I have gone this route and had BS decisions reversed...

I had a shop rejected a few months ago because I didn't reply to an email quickly enough, but I too was using Yahoo and did not get the email until the next day. They did not call.

They most likely did email though. They have been having issues with Yahoo. For awhile I was not getting emails from them. For the last few weeks I switched to gmail for them and have been getting them with no problems.
Oh well the shop was deleted and cannot be reviewed now. They gave the shop to someone else and it is being done today. great
I opened a gmail account and updated my profile. I will not get paid for that shop but now at least I will (hopefully!) have emails from them.
I am peeved with them as well. They said my receipt was not acceptable, (too blurry or something). I submitted another photo, presume that is acceptable since I don't hear anything, and check the site, I am off the job. It is unassigned to me because I didn't respond with the correct photo in the time provided. Why didn't they tell me they didn't like the second one either? It was a very long receipt so I tried to fold it to show the parts they wanted, date, time, cost, etc.
That is when a scanner comes in really handy. Although photographed receipts are accepted by many companies, long receipts are a pain and getting them in focus and without a wiggle are a little hard. Sometimes you can pick up a cheap scanner at a place like Big Lots that carries discontinued merchandise or even off the clearance tables at the office supply places like Office Depot or Office Max or Staples. I have even seen them at Goodwill, though if you are not computer comfortable to search and download drivers from the internet, installation may pose a challenge (and remember that if you are running Vista virtually no older hardware will work).
Let me add to the Good Advice posted by Flash. Watch for Deals on All In One Printers at these same places. I picked up 4 of the HP F4280 printers at Office Max. Each one cost me $29.99. Thats the price of a set of replacement ink carts. Nice, clear scans. Windows 7 picked them right up...

I have always scanned receipts to them. I recently bought a Brother all-in-one for $79 at Best Buy. It prints, scans, copies and faxes.
I do this for MFI also and when they need a receipt they email me. They do not throw away my work that is already completed. The issue this time was my email. They tried to contact me to send the instore receipt (that I had already sent)and my having yahoo mail they were not able to contact me. I am beefed cuz they wouldn't pay me for a shop that was done. The problem is not on my end it is their's. Movng on I have gmail for them only.
For receipts, I always scan. My camera takes really clear images and I've studied photography, but I still would not trust a camera with the faint, blurry, fine print of some of the receipts I get.
I use my iPhone and an app. called "Jott Scanner." My real scanner is now officially retired from doing receipts. This is a great app, well worth the 4.99 it cost me.

Dee, you've just pushed me several steps closer to getting an iPhone.

lucky7s, it may be too late for you, and may not apply in this situation, but last month I noticed CoRI had a link on the bottom of the Auditor Home Page for receipts that had been submitted but not yet verified. I have no idea how long that has been there, because the link doesn't show up unless one scrolls down. Now that I know the link is there, I check it every time I submit a shop.

Good move on your part to go to gmail. Their spam filter is better than the uber mega expensive one used at my office.
Dee...I scanned the App Store and couldn't fine Jott Scanner. Is there any more information to go on?
Sorry, I had the name wrong. JotNot Scanner. Now down to $1.99. I bought it when it first came out, and it was $4.99 then. Worth the $. Easily. Does great receipts.

Let me first say, I miss the old days with Schedulers that cared about their Auditors at CRI. They now treat their Auditors like we are the enemy. They certainly don't have a problem calling me on the phone when they need help. Amazingly, when they have your report, and they know you have been doing their shops for many years, when you accidently upload the wrong receipt and they don't hear from you (which is not your normal MO), you would think they could call you to see what happened. But no...they are too busy. Instead they insinuate that you are the only one they are having problems with...'I am the enemy'. I accepted responsibility that I did make a mistake, because I had two other e-mails that another Scheduler put the job number in the Subject line, so when I got this email, and I had just responded to the other two, I thought it was about the same job number and was taken care of, so I didn't open it. So I apologized for my error. But when I suggested it would be helpful to put the job number in the Subject line, you would have thought I suggested something crazy. I was told they never have this problem with anyone else. BTW, this is the first time I haven't responded to an email from a Scheduler immediately. Not to mention the number of jobs I do for them each week, they would take that into consideration. Sorry for rambling on, considering this is the first time I have posted here, but I am tired and frustrated with being treated in such a disrespectful way by CRI.

It makes sense to me that the Scheduler's and the Auditor's should be working together...not against each other. It is extremely frustrating and I have to say, honestly, I don't have this problem with the other mystery shopping company's schedulers I work for. Touche', CRI! Grrrr.
