I usually use no@no.com but ive always been a fan of Bugs Bunny so i might steal that one. It's much more clever and friendly than mine. Thanks, Griff!
OP, why do you say you have to use a real person's name? Your poor friend. Next time, use the email addy of one of the Maritz teams.

Seriously, nobody cares that you're offended.
As mentioned last week, I did 4 of these shops today and promised to report back. On 3 of the debriefs I typed "NA" in the question about referrals. They went through as usual. No bonce back. On the 4th I purposely left the answer out and it was bounced back asking for a reply. I typed "NA" and sent it back and it was accepted. So having fun with a bogus email address is unnecessary.
Could it possibly be that my score with this company is so very, very low (they told me last week if they had any other shoppers to take the stations, they'd deactivate me -- I swear, this company and I just have a hex on us!) that they can be sticklers on my reports? I have one more to report tomorrow; I'll try NONE, and if it bounces back, I will report here!
I have never entered an email address, I just type NA and have never had a problem.
Dang it. Did that report, entered NONE, hit submit -- and got loading....loading....loading. Until it timed out and when I logged back in, the entire report was blank, no photos, no nothing. Had the do the entire report AGAIN.
I put "none@none.com", and it went right through! (I didn't want to risk it going blank for another round!)
cease, I have to think the problem is in your computer rather than their system. I don"t know about "none" but "NA" works just fine.

What is a very low score with MCX? I have never seen a scoring system with them. The problem mention seems to be that Clients problem. After you complete your current round of Client shops, don't sign up for anymore, if available in your area do the other GS.smiling smiley

If the MSC threatens to deactivate, then perhaps they will miss you more, than the other way around.
What's a low score? I don't know. I know I've done over 100 shops for them and still haven't earned self-assign privileges! LOL!!!

Yes, the problem could very well be with my computer -- or with its operator!

Maritz doesn't reveal the shopper's scores although they are available to the schedulers.

Cease, do you know a scheduler that you are friendly with and can talk to? Or even better a supervisor or asst, supervisor? The fact that you have done over 100 shops should mean that you can self-assign. Something is wrong and a friendly chat may reveal why not and what can be done.
Oh, I believe we are star-crossed. Every time I accept one of their shops, or a route, something awful happens. Yesterday my car overheated (it was 106 outside). Last week, it was 7 tornadoes. The week before, I got my camera out to take the first picture, and the camera wouldn't work. I opened it -- and I had forgotten to put my recharged battery back in it! The gas station was 80 miles away.

I've sat down to work on reports for Maritz, and had the internet go out -- or the electricity. I have rescheduled due to storms, illness, car breakdowns -- anything you can think of! I get extensions on getting reports filed.
After one route, my hard drive failed. I'd already done the shops, but couldn't report them until I got the hard drive replaced. I had put the photos on my computer, then automatically erased them from my camera. By the time I could have re-shopped, another shopper had done them. I accepted a bunch of shops on the app -- and when I got to the first one, I couldn't get the app to function!!!

And yet I can do 200 shops for another company, everything goes PERFECTLY.

Even stranger, if I do a Maritz shop scheduled through a scheduling company, it goes without a hitch, too!! I have done routes of banking shops (through the scheduling company), and gotten perfect reviews.

And that's just part of the reason I can't self-assign!

If they use a 10 point system, I'm probably a 3, maybe even a 2!!!

LOL!!!!

I'm not making excuses, just making a statement of fact. They continue to be nice to me, and encouraging. Love 'em, but I swear we're hexed!!!

I signed up for Maritz some years ago but never took a shop from them. I think now I am probably going to log back in and deactivate my account or request deactivation saying I no longer have any interest in doing shops for them. I could maybe deal with the oddball way they handle reports, requiring you invoice them, and all that jazz, but this crosses too many lines. In particular, it smacks of the car salesman style of "bait and switch." The outrage over this is justified, and Maritz at minimum deserves the pain of having to find a whole bunch of replacement shoppers.
I am currently reporting 6-8 shops a day for them. Not once have I been required to submit an email address to complete the report. But by all mean... deactivate. Some shopper in your area will appreciate it.

As she stated in the subject line, ceasesmith is pissed. She was not "hysterical."

Don't get hysterical. Just type NA in the box like everybody says and it will be all peachy.
Y do some ms people exggerate so much/ if they r doing it here im sure they r doing on reports. ticked off vs hysterical.
For what it is worth, I did 12 of these shops last week and put N/A on all of them. None of them bounced back.
