Maritz shop guidelines / additional details

I'm looking to find out more about the shops on the website before I commit to the shop. I know some of the emails I've gotten (from other schedulers, not Maritz directly) indicate a quick summary of the task at hand. It seems that Maritz only tells you the title of the shop, the rate and nothing more.

Selecting the shop and clicking "Get Shops" brings me to a screen with times and dates. I haven't clicked further as I feel like I'll then be immediately assigned.

I also have not gotten the mobile app (iPhone) to work at all! The map shows some red store icons, but I cant click any of them.

I just want to learn more about what the requirements are so I can assess my personal availability as I have a full-time job sad smiley

If you select a shop you go through several pages before you are assigned and committed to do it. You can back out up to the last page. It gives a slightly better description of the shop on one of the pages. If you want more details you need to call them and talk with a scheduler.
I was told I should call or email them to ask questions rather than accepting and backing out. (I'd call since email can take days for a reply.) That said, I wish they would post a little more about their shops before having to commit.
They always tell me things about the shop that seemed scripted. I called and talked to seven different people so far and none of them have done any of the shops themselves, nor do they seem to have read the guidelines. It seems that only the project manager knows the details about the shops and they don't come to the phone. The best thing to do is make buddies here and ask that the guidelines be emailed to you so you can peruse them.
They will not provide the full guidelines up front. If they consider your application, someone will call you. They have a script and as Spicy mentioned, do not disclose much. The person the called me said they need at least 10 minutes to read requirements too me. They refused to send me the information to review, yet wanted my full commitment to be assigned.

They expect you to call them, when able to get through. Bad system! Bad management!
WATCH OUT!!!!! KEEP YOUR OWN RECORDS. DO NOT TRUST!!!
I worked for them for 6 months, no problems. Denied 2 Sept. bank shop payments with no explanation. Complained and tried to talk with supervisor to get explanation. Refused explanation, and I asked to no longer receive shops. My Maritz CX account was deleted, in turn my owed payments for completed shops were not paid. Finally paid out after 2 months and many calls and emails. I have and do work for many different companies over the last 10 years. I would never trust Maritz CX again. BEWARE!!
I consider Maritz one of the reputable ones. Perhaps BurnedyMaritz problems are self-inflicted.
You know, I don't know about everyone else but I've come to love the quirkiness of their employees. I know that I cannot speak fast and without congeniality with them most of the time, especially late evening because they will just hang up on me, which is the most hilarious thing ever! I've picked up two more shops and I think I'm going to focus on their shops a little more this year; at least the ones with a bonus.
