JM Ridgeway payments

UGH!!! On Tuesday I got a notice from Pay Pal about getting an e-check from JM Ridgeway in my Pay Pal account. I went there and found out it is "Pending". As of now it is still "Pending". This is the only MSC I deal with that handles payments by this method. Others that I work for send me a Pay Pal Payment and I can send it to my bank immediately, but not this one. Are there any other companies anyone knows about that do this? I want to know so I can avoid them in the future. JMR doesn't have such wonderful shops that I feel like I should have to put up with this.

Same with mine. It was pending for about five days over the weekend.

I think these clear in 3-4 business days. Wait until Monday and see what happens.

Still nothing indicating that my JMR funds are available yet.

I don't see a problem with how JMR pays unless the cleared payments are later than promised. How is this really different from getting advance notice of payments?

This is what they have to say about payments: JMR payments are made between the 35th and 45th day after of the date of your shop. Generally payments are made once a week every Friday but not limited to every Friday. Technically, the payment was sent to Pay Pal on time. But what is annoying is that I am still waiting for the e-check to clear. No other MSC that I work with who pays through Pay Pal does this e-check thing. With every other company I can transfer the funds immediately to my bank.

Now that I know that they do this, I can weigh that in my decision whether or not to take future shops with them. But I'd like to know if there is any other companies that I should know about who do this so I can make my choice based on this knowledge.

I dont feel Comfortable Putting anything in my bank Account, is this company recognized by The BBB?

It can be what? JM Ridgway (NOT Ridgeway!) is a legitimate mystery shopping company. Here is a link to their website. If you are concerned about providing your bank information, they pay via PayPal.

I found long ago that some mystery shopping companies don't have great BBB ratings. It has nothing to do with them, it is they are often not BBB accredited along with the way BBB categorizes the business as a Work-at-Home company.

They always clear. I've had several paid by e-check from them. You should not have any problems with it after the 3-5 business days.

I haven't had any problems yet. I just have to wonder why they do it this way. All of the other MSC's I work with and who use Pay Pal, send the money to my account in a way that I can immediately send it to my bank. But Ridgway sends it so I have to wait several days. It's actually rather annoying.
