No luck applying for Ath Power shops.

No matter how many times I apply for a shop from Ath Power they never get back to me. I'v been trying for over a month and still no assignments. I see plenty of shops near my location on the board, and emails about open assignments all the time. Anyone else have this problem?

I'm having this problem as well. They keep sending me emails and added a bonus for a few shops in my area but they don't assign anything to me. I keep applying but I have no luck getting anything. I wonder if this is normal?
^^^^^also is there something in your application that is unsavory???? Some of there shops are bank compliance so if your registration sounds or looks unfavorable, duh duh da duh.
I have test that can be taken but none of them have anything to do with what's available around me. As far as my profile, I always sign up for new MSCs the same way every time and It has never stopped me from getting shops. I even emailed them a few days ago about the shop they keep sending out in emails. No response from anyone.

Mspinello@athpower.com might be of some help or could head you in the right direction.

Explain briefly about your problem.
What state are you in? They are in Massachusetts.
I have never had a problem with ATH. Did you try to contact the scheduler for the shops you can not seem to get?
If you give me the name of the scheduler I might be able to get you help.
I emailed yramirez@athpower.com 2 days ago about a shop that's in my area, that they keep adding bonuses to because they want to get it off the board. I get emails from that address often so I just responded to the one that was sent out the night before. I'm in North Carolina by the way. I looked at the tests and none of them pertain to the shop I'm trying to get.
Just an update: I contacted Mary Beth (mcrowley@athpower.com) and was told that she doesn't handle the bank shop I keep applying for nor does she have access to them. Her email states that she is the "Lead Scheduler", of what I'm not sure, seeing as how there are shops she claims she can't access. In my response to her, I asked her to direct me to whoever handles the shop and I have yet to hear back. I get it now, ATH doesn't need me.
They are actually a very nice company to work with on a lot of projects but they seem to be very regimented — a scheduler who handles “Bank A” has nothing to do with shops for “Bank B”. And yes, sometimes that means a scheduler won’t bother responding if you are asking about a shop they don’t assign. Not great, but it has happened to me too. Then again, the nicest scheduler I know works for them and she’s great to deal with every time.
This still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It's rude. I'm trying to do a shop that they keep blowing up my email about but no one will assign it to me. Their lost.
It took me about a month of applying before I got my first shop for them. I don't know what their internal policies are about adding new shoppers, but it seems that this is pretty common. Once you do start to work with them, they are responsive, reliable and a genuinely great company.

I wouldn't give up. If possible, try for one or two of their other shops. It could be that they would rather you start out with them by doing a different shop first - which is not always clear by the shop summaries you can see on the job board.. ... Apply for two or three at a time. Once you successfully complete a shop or two, you'll find yourself assigned to more.

Every MSC has it's own little quirks here and there. This is simply one of ATH's quirks. They really are a good company - one of the ten job boards i always keep open in my browser. They pay move then most companies and are always on time.

It is true that a scheduler for one client might not have access to a different schedulers shops. I had one scheduler tell me she cannot see jobs unless she is the scheduler. It is frustrating.
a171989 and jumpergrrl197, ATH has different schedulers for different parts of the country, different banks.
Have you spoken with the scheduler you have?
Have you only been shopping for a month? or just on the forum a month?
If Marybeth told you that she does not have access to your shops, she don't. She is Lead Scheduler for her shops, not yours.
They are great to work for, you just have to be patient and find the right person to give you the information.
Are you following the rotation system, different from each bank. Do you know how to use their system?
Do they have the information they need to pay you?
I emailed the scheduler who keeps sending out the emails for the shop I'm trying to get assigned to but she never responds, per my comment above. I then sent an email to one of the people suggested above and got the response I posted. It seems, in my area, the only have one client. I'm not in a big city, I live in a rural area so I understand. I've never done a shop for them so the rotation system wouldn't apply but my profile is complete with the exception of my SS number needing to be verified by the IRS. Jumpergrrl are you having the IRS problem as well? I'm waiting on that for about 5 companies right now. I was told I could still do shops with my SS number pending but I wouldn't be paid yet. Intellishop has actually started to pay shoppers who are waiting for verification still. I've been shopping for 1 month but I get that every company has it's quirks. Before I join a MSC, I research it first but nothing bad came up about ATH.
It took a while for me to finally get a shop with Ath as I would apply and it would show in my apps then just be gone. I completed a mortgage referral shop first then had two account opening shops scheduled. I had to cancel both last month because I didn't have social security card and the bank required it. I had to request a replacement card and wait to get it so the bank could verify it was actually my number since there's a fraud alert on my credit report.

After I got my replacement social security card, I emailed the scheduler because both shops were still on the job board. She was able to reassign the checking shop to me but stated they had met their quota for savings shops so even though there were savings shops still on the board, they didn't need anymore done. I then understood why jobs would show in my apps then disappear and be completely gone from the board. Apparently they post a ton of locations but only actually need about half of them shopped to meet their required number.

You might not have the right qualifications for the shop or your shopper rating might not be high enough for that shop you keep getting the emails about. That does not mean you cannot qualify for a different shop and raise your rating. I do not know if they have schedulers that do shops for other companies that you might have gotten a low score on a shop or flaked. Look on presto instashop because they occasionally have phone shops that can raise your rating and get you started,
I'm not seeing a shopper rating on the site like I do for other MSC but my application says its still pending for the shop I applied for. So far I have 13 shops under my belt, most are for MF. I've never flaked on anything I was scheduled to do and MF has called me a few times to do last minute shops. Sadly, the only shop in my area from Ath is the one that I keep applying for. On the bright side, no one has been assigned it so I'm not the only one being ignored.
