2018- Clients who have dropped their MS program

Hi Guys, now that we are a couple months into the new year have you noticed any clients not being shopped? One of my favorite shops, Grimaldi's pizzeria, is no longer coming up on the job boards. Wonder if the MS company lost the contract. Have you noticed any others so far this year?

I'm not 100% but I believe Seelevelhx lost it's credit client.......the one with the funky photo requirements where you were supposed to get an image of the name of the store on a store window with the address of the store in the same photo.

Came back to add that Intellishop's shop of a high end men's clothing retailer ended at the end of last year, per the scheduler I was negotiating with for a higher fee over the holidays.

Even tough we don't have one here I have not seen Pandra Bread. I did a search becuase

I know its been discuss before I have not seen BWW.
Buffalo Wild Wings, Chipotle, a few apartments

"I told myself to quit you; but I don't listen to drunks." -Chris Stapleton
Disney, cinnabon, bw3, doc b's (LOVE their guac & sweet potato chips) a few fine dining shops through SeeLevel
Yeah Fleming;s and Roy's seem to be missing lately. Haven't seen them for several months. :-(
Cheesecake Factory spoke on their earnings call about how they were saving money by dropping their mystery guest program and going to the ubiquitous survey on the receipt method with no incentive (they even stopped the small e-gift card). Perhaps they are still doing bar compliance.

My issue with that is while I think food is doing well, service is just not up to par from what I witness. So many issues from not greeting timely, not consistently introducing the service (providing the white cocktail napkin upon drink order greet, to not checking on tables often enough, etc.) and perhaps for many people they don't care, but I applaud the many lower cost chains that are putting a consistent effort to make sure the service is as required.

I think by the time they realize the service issues, it may be too late sometimes...

To the comments posted earlier. I have seen Disney retail from time to time, but I don't get the email reminder consistently (and they get taken fast even at only reimbursement). Some franchisees of Wetzel are still doing their locations.
I agree, Cheesecake Factory needs to bring their shoppers back. We went there a few weeks ago and the service was far below par.

Another one that I haven't seen in a year or so is Benihana. I have been pretty disappointed with their service and cleanliness of our local one.
Panera bread hasn't been shopped since it was bought out, haven't see Red Robin for a few months, all the cosmetics shops "About Face" used to have are gone for well over a year. Many new accounts seem to be online pickups using an app. Roy's has been gone for years, I used to do the one in Woodland Hills and in Sarasota, Fl. I miss them. Flemings has a very expensive wine/dinner a few times a year. Haven't seen anyone pickup NSS high end retail or the restaurant I used to do monthly..Wild wings and many more retail stores are gone, the list goes on and on.

The wireless carrier that acquired them is shopped and questions regarding DirectTV are included.
I hope Flemings is all the way gone. I used to do the Sunday Brunch shops. I miss my Paneras.. the came in handy as needful fillers and comfortable break stops for reporting on the route. I miss my BLUE BIG BOX home store that I used to do for Maritz... several a day. Those were great.. been gone into two years now.

I haven't seen quite a few restaurant shops that I did last year... Bdubs, Buffalo Wings and Rings, Another Broken Egg, Ruth's Chris, Margaritaville... I'm hoping that they will show up soon! I've had a lot of fast food shops lately but not so much for the sit down restaurants!
TinaMarie, why do you hope Flemings is all the way gone?

It seems like Red Robin gets shopped in my area once per quarter or so. I did one in late December and have one scheduled for the end of April. They get snapped up pretty quick and are very easy shops to do.
I’m disappointed to see the cosmetics gone. I do see more guidelines and requirements on shops now than in past. I find it odd that given the technology we have. More for less I guess. Oh, next they will want fingerprint samples to verify we actually ate the fries and mouth swabs that we used the fork to eat our meal! Oh wait, that’s another thread.....
