MF burger shops

This has happened 2 times. The shop is a call in order. The burger place answers the phone and says, "Sorry, we don't do call in orders, go online." There for, I cant complete my shop.
If this situation happens, I was told to do report and explain the situation....$3 they will pay me if I am not able to order. $3 F&***&* bucks. Not even worth loggin on here.
Has anyone else done this dumb shop?? Am I clueless? I cant find an area on the shop to let them know what happened. It continues doing the report until it is completed. SOOOOOOO frustrating.

At least you don't have to leave your home and it's a shorter report.
That is unusual. I have never had this burger shop turn down a phone order- NEVER. Makes me wonder if the burger shop is just being lazy- not wanting to take phone orders.................why would ANYONE turn away business? I suspect the burger shop will be brought to task for not taking your phone order.
I have had this happen and I tell them I am in a position where I can't go online. Then they either take it or say call back in 10 minutes.
Why do you sign up for phone orders?

With a phone order u get paid the same amount but less observations.
I've taken a couple of online shops where they did not accept online orders. I did not find this out until after downloading the app and attempting.

But for a phone shop, I'd pull out the 'teacher' voice: "Young man, I cannot place an online order. Please accept my phone order."

I had the same thing happen doing a shop for a delivery service for the burger restaurant. I placed the order, then got an email that said everything was refunded because the burger shop wasn't accepting orders.

Because you don't have to eat at the restaurant, potentially saving work time for this shop.

I wouldn't force them to take my order over the phone. If they refuse, you report that. Let the company handle how they deal with it.
But it is hard to complain about $3 if really you never have to leave you house, and the report is much easier. I mean the normal report hardly takes 10 minutes....with the longest part taking photo of and uploading the receipt.
And it's a low paying shop to begin with.
I wonder if the shops manager is aware of the current scenario. One location near my job would all of a sudden stop taking internet/app orders when that scenario was active. They have a new manager, the online is never a problem now.

It's not necessarily a shorter report. I did a shop where I called and the T-shirt store in the same location took the phone number of the hardware store which I was supposed to shop. They told me the hardware store went out of business about a year prior.

There was no place in the report to say I called and it was out of business. I had to fill in N/A and "The location is closed" and go through the whole report.

Then when I submitted it, it was rejected because I didn't upload a business card as proof of visit.

Thankfully that was fixed and I got paid my $3.
When a location is closed for this kind of shop, it is a much shorter report.
I did two this weekend, and the prices went up again. Hope they raise the reimbursement.

Even if they don't, the increased prices will give you leverage to increase your bonuses. Negotiations 101.

Since I am calling in and I always use call block for something like that I would just tell them that they failed the mystery shop.
The locations around me don't accept blocked calls. I think they need to know your phone# for call-in orders.
They did this to too. What sucks is you don't know until you're already near it if it's far away. Total BS.
Before you leave home you can call them to see if they accept phone orders, that way you know.
