Most of the companies appear to pay very little, especially considering the work involved. I wonder how much the companies are paid. I wonder if the companies that hire them know how little they pay the shoppers. Based on many of the messages that I have read in the Forum, I think that some of the shoppers might not be up to doing as well of a job as others.
I was shopped out in the early nineties. I had worked in an electronics store. We were shopped all of the time. I was able to figure out who my shopper was. She was very meek and seemed nervous. I had a real hard time with her because she wouldn't say anything when I asked her questions. She stated in her report that I used big words. Really.
If I had known then what I know now, I would have notified my employers that I did not think the shoppers should be taken seriously due to their lack of...uh...nevermind.
I realize that I am venting, but it really is frustrating.
