Reaching schedulers when you need to be paid?

After being informed that my post was a rant. I will just ask this simple questions. How do you handle schedulers who seem to to be readily available when they need you and not available when you need to be paid? And kudos to AMUSEMENT ADVANTAGE which has a 24-hour online chat helpline available to answer your questions, give you advice and direction that is recorded and documented in a transcript as proof​ and backup.

Rants at an entire group of ICs with such generalization really are not helpful to anyone. If you have a specific issue with a specific scheduler, please lay it out calmly and you may obtain advice and insight. "Add a positive contribution to the community," is one of the forums only rules, which you will see immediately to the right of this thread.

I can't agree with you. This is my business and I choose the companies, the type of shops, the shopping area and the hours I prefer. If I find an adamant scheduler in a preferred company I have no problem working around her.

Practically every MSC has contact information listed on their website. It might be a phone number, email address or webform. If you need to reach someone at the MSC and the scheduler is not responding, you'll need to look on the MSC's website to find another contact. Or, you can search for the MSC on the board and you'll probably find the answer.

If the ONLY contact information you are able to find is the scheduler, then sending them an email detailing the issue and asking "if you are not the correct person for this, can you please let me know who I need to contact?" does wonders.

Or, you could simply post here saying what MSC you need help with and actually get useful information.
