Summit Scheduling

Hi,
I’m still learning about various platforms and MSC’s. Is Summit Scheduling a company that does scheduling for MSC’s or an MSC itself? Would their jobs show up on the Presto app?

I’ve gotten a couple of emails from them. They seem really nice. I like them.

I don’t think so? I recall getting an email from them about a different shopping company.

But I’m still trying to figure out all of the different roles in the mystery shopping profession. Shoppers, agents, schedulers, companies, editors, field agents, etc.

My scheduler from Summit is a wonderful. She gets to the point, already has the appropriate bonus attached when she contacts me and doesn't play games. She responds to all of my texts, even just a quick quip. All mscs should use summit when using a scheduling company.
I wish more would just text me instead of sending the emails. Lol I’m never really sure if it’s intended directly to me or to everyone in their mailing list. I always accept the shop when they text me directly.

@Rhondabryant...

I actually prefer an email, but I have a full time job Monday through Friday and my phone is off while I'm at work..

I prefer email. I don't mind texts unless they are text blasts sent to many shoppers. I dislike mass texts more than mass emails because, for whatever reason, most mass texts I get don't include the names of the schedulers who sent the texts. I find it quite annoying when I don't already have a number saved in my contact list and the text doesn't identify the scheduler. Sometimes, a text doesn't identify the sender OR the MSC, and the text doesn't address me by name. I usually don't bother to respond to those.
I don't like it when schedulers text me. I would much rather get an email unless it's an emergency. Then a call or text is ok.

Summit definitely schedules for more than one MSC, though IPSOS is their major client.
I only like texts (and calls). when decent (no, not $10) bonus money is involved. If I were to get daily texts from every company, my phone would become useless. They can send me all the email they like as it's easy to delete and deal with on my own time.

Yup. If you really want to get my attention... Put cash on the table..

Offering me a significant bonus constitutes as an emergency, LOL.[/quote]

Indeed. No quicker way for an MSC to get me to ignore ALL of their communications than by sending me bulk text messages. Doing so, IMO, is unprofessional and a nuisance.
No. I’m not talking about bulk texts. Nobody likes that! Lol

I agree with this.

I hate finding out later it was a mass text. It's no fun wasting my time trying to rework my schedule and figure out the minimum I could take after getting a text asking for a favor. The favor includes driving 180+ roundtrip for one assignment, of course with the "make me an offer!"note. Then I respond to find out it was sent to many other people. Heck, I wouldn't even bother worrying about it if I knew that - someone a lot closer will be able to do it for a lot less. Send those via email where it's clear to me lots of people got it.
@Rhondabryant..not sure about texts..but most emails you can opt out on the email they send...
