Oh Maritz, you so silly

I offered to do a gas route for an incentive of $15 ea. They countered with an incentive of $20 ea and asked if that was acceptable.

I spent the last few days doing IPSOS gas stations. It really made me miss Maritz.

I had a similac thing happen to me with an ACL pizza shop last year. I said I was willing to do it for less money and the Scheduler countered with a higher amount, I jumped on that one. By the way, I got the most money I have ever gotten to shop that client that one time. I have not seen that high of a bonus on any of their clients since.

I agree, Maritz is my favorite. I really don't mind the phone calls either, although there are less of them since they lost a couple of clients. However, I have not had the good fortune to have a bonus request upgraded, although I just returned from a station bonused at $150.
I just tapped out of the IPSOS gas station. The client was ridiculous when they were with Maritz. Now they're SUPER ridiculous with IPSOS and the overzealous editors over there just pile it on. I'm done. Maybe $50 ea, but at the price I'm doing them at they're not worth the hassle.

Must be different editors in your area and mine.I haven't had much of a problem with them and not many shops bouncing back. And I do like the increase in base pay but don't like not being able to negotiate bonuses.
Wow, I thought I did something significant with a $4 bonus.

Hoju, I would make sure that $20 is the incentive and not the total fee including bonus, just in case they or you misunderstood. Also, I haven't had any issues with the IPSOS gas station audit. The ones I did recently have already been approved. I'm finding them quicker to do as I go along. However, it is easy to miss something if I don't double check my cheat sheet. And, for the life of me, I can't understand why we have to park first and make a purchase and then get back in car to buy gas. Most stations around here have small kiosk stores anyway. It's just stupid. One thing I do like is not having to do the rewards thingy at the pump. That was always a bit time consuming and now I can get my own rewards on my own account automatically with my card.

Oh I definitely checked, MSJudi!

I agree MsJudi, parking and going into the c-store first does seem backward but I guess the client changed that for some reason unknown to us. I find their pay schedule much slower than Maritz but I can live with it. I would prefer direct deposit or checks to paypal. The most annoying thing to me is that I can't self assign and tight shops dates. I would prefer being able to project shops a few weeks in advance. However, it is what it is and I can choose to accept the rules or find other shops. I enjoy gas station shops and do a lot of them so I choose to accept.

I'm sure some of it is me, but so much of it is a super nit-picky client and editor. I'm also finding that the evaluation is almost the same as it was with Maritz but it's JUST different enough to cause problems for people that have done it a ton in the past. I think I just don't like the client in this case.

I hate when they call you, offer you a bonus, and it's less than what's offered online. What a waste of time. When I mentioned it was higher online, they said they can't see that, and said I should take that offer instead. lol
It's crazy with their brand new online system that the schedulers still don't have access.
