GBW Payment

I did several fast food shops this past weekend that paid very well. They kept begging me to do more and more so I did a total of 17 shops (3 on Thursday, 12 Saturday and 2 more on Sunday). I filled out all the reports on time and was very detailed. I checked yesterday and the two I did Sunday now say were cancelled. I’m not happy.

I wouldn't panic yet. I had a cell phone shop that I did and it showed as cancelled, but I never got an email about it, and I was paid for it. Unless they specifically told you it was rejected, you have hope.

The word "cancelled" bothers me. That alone suggests non-payment. I would definitely work on getting in contact with the scheduler or project manager and inquire as to what is going on...

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
They have a little enquiry button right on their home page.......

They still keep calling wanting me to do more. I think I’m the only one in my area to do these shops. It’s a major fast food chain with like a hundred locations within a 50 mile radius. Problem is most of the shops are for weekday breakfast hours and I work my main job during those hours. That’s why they were able to push some to lunch or weekends for me. This is the first time working for them and I am a little skeptical due to the high pay, bad reviews and now 2 of them cancelled. I wasn’t notified of them being cancelled and they are calling for more. So far I’ve ignored the calls. When I do answer and agree to one or two the same girl keeps calling every 5 minutes with more lol.
Yep, they call you a lot, especially if you're new. They called me about a shoe shop that was a 2 hour drive away. Started at $20. After I kept saying no due to time and traffic, they got all the way up to $120. I still declined, but I couldn't believe they were really that desperate. They don't call me anymore, and I do most communications via text, which I prefer.

I’m still waiting on payment from the shops I did May 16-19. Am due over $600. I did send an enquiry, but haven’t received a reply yet. Doesn’t even say processing, but at least the 2 shops I mentioned before that were cancelled say approved like the others. Hope I hear something soon.
I finally got paid for a February shop however they suspended my account for all the @#$%& and moaning.
I got paid for a previous shop after my suspension. I was concerned they were gonna stiff me.
I use to shop for gbw 4 years ago with out a issue. Started back last May. I did 3 shops in May and a bunch later. Its August now, no payment for May. I sent in two enquires on web site. One is almost a month old other a week. No responses yet.
Still no response to my 4 enquires, texts and emails from the May shops...however it finally says they are processing payment. I have no idea how they do the process as it’s for a ton of smaller amounts, but it adds up to be around what it should be. I’m due around $600. I’ll update when I get paid.
Update. On Wednesday they finally replied to my enquerys saying the payments were processing and would take 3 weeks, however I got payment yesterday. Thank god it’s finally over with. I don’t think I will do shops for them anymore as waiting 3 months for payment is too long for me.
Hi, I'm new to GBW. I did only one shop for GBW which was on 6/27/19. Now almost 2 month later, I still have not been paid. In addition, GBW never responded to me several email inquires. Can anyone please kindly answer my questions below:

(1) Do I have to enter my SSN in my GBW account in order to be paid? Their FAQ did not mention this. Since my shop is well below the $600 threshold, I did not enter my SSN, but would like to know whether GBW will withhold payment unless and until I enter my SSN in my account;

(2) I did not enter any bank information in my GBW account. I only entered my email address and chose PayPal payment option. Is this sufficient for GBW to successfully process payment to me?

(3) Does GBW charge a fee for shoppers opting for PalPay payment option? If so, how much fee does GBW charge?

(4) It seems that no one knows GBW's phone# and there is no other ways to contact their Accounting Dept other than sending them emails in vain. But if anyone knows any tricks, please kindly share how to get them to reply to me.

Thank you all!!
They have not paid me for a shop I did three months ago. They have also not responded to any of my numerous "enquiries."
Oh I thought I had it bad. I’m waiting on 1 payment from a shop done the first week of July.
They called me to do the same shop I have not been paid for months ago. I told them I had not been paid. They told me, "Seven or eight days." That's what they told me over a month ago.
I received the following in reply to my “enquiry” about payment for my June shop. Among other problems with the answer, I am not Graham. They seem to have a payment issue with every shop I do for them but eventually I do get paid.

Hi Graham,

I hope you are well,

Apologies as we have been facing some payment issues. The management is doing everything in their power to speed up the payment process for the month of June.

However, we do understand your frustration. We truly apologise for this and we thank you for trying to understand our short coming. Rest assured you will be paid. We will keep in touch until your payment has been well paid.

Please do let me know if you have further questions.

Our deepest apologies once again.

I recently got the same email as kenasch. I am fine with companies being slow to pay if they tell up front they pay in 3+ months (Cirrus), but don't string me along if pmt is supposed to be in a more timely manner. So, I've opened 3 inquiry tickets for late payment and they've closed them all as "solved". I just keep reopening tickets and being a little more FIRM with my dissatisfaction and expectations.
LOL..At least you know you're not the only one with payment issues. That sucks though.

They won't even respond to my emails. The last email said it would be another 2-3 weeks, even though I was told 7-8 days. It's been three months. I am doubting I will ever get paid.
Hey there, Niner - Yep....the 3 weeks or less I was told last time has expired. I'm only out money for one shop, but dang it - it's my money. So since then, I've opened another ticket and stated that just because they say the money is forthcoming does not mean the issue is resolved. The ticket is solved when I have my money. I also emailed thru their general contact found on the home page, stating I was having trouble with pay and not having satisfactory results. I do not like time wasters or being lied to.
They owe me around $200. I agreed to do another shop. When they wanted clarification, they demanded it be done immediately. Then, they won't pay. I wonder how much longer a company can exist with business practices like this.

Niner, evidently a company like this can exist for a very long time. I worked for them about 15 years ago until they kicked me off for ???? At the time the theory was they got rid of the older people.(45-50 year olds). They should see me now if they think I was old then!!! I have continued to read threads about them just because I get a sense of satisfaction that I am no longer working for this company with all the issues. And to remind my self not to sign up with them again. They have changed the company name slightly since those days about 15 years ago but still every couple of months for 15 years someone starts a thread about non payment.

I'm waiting on 2 payments from GBW... one that is over 3 months old. I sent an enquiry, and did hear back. Technical issues.... yeah, right. At least they got back to me. The major issue I have is that they require a purchase for this shop. It's one thing to delay payments when it's "just" our time, it's another when we we have a purchase involved. GBW is moving to the very bottom of my list.
