Coyle’s pay

Has anyone done the same shop for consecutive years? I got assigned for the same shop but the 2019’s pay is significantly lower than 2018’s. Anyone in the same boat?

Are you talking about the hotel giant’s visits? I am getting $10 less for each this year, and considering decline the offer

One hotel chain went from $100 to $65, one call shop dripped from $15 to $10. It is a bit unfair because the amount of work and report stayed the same.

I never take Coyle shops for the advertised fees. Everything is negotiation.

Me either. But this year the negotiation margins had tightened up since some shopper took those at the posted price
@MikiNV I know which ones you r referring to... those from 100 to 65 was a bit unfair since you might not get full reimbursement from the hotel due to Coyle’s prolonged editing and currency fluctuations

It’s the hotels’ dining.... but it’s haeder to negotiate nowadays

Think twice if you take the was $100 now $65 visits... last year I did some and it took them a month to reverse the payment ($800usd). I made a loss on them due to currency exchange and had to repay the amount as they did not reverse before my credit card cut off date.

Pw21: yes, currency exchange is unfair, a lot probably need travel bonus so they are trying to save on lower fee, my guess. Call shops are even worst; they dropped the fee from $15 to $10 after shortening the report by few Yes/No answers; narrative is still there. I used to do a lot of these; I still do them but maybe couple per month, and think if they are worth it....I have a small child so I can’t be too selective these days. When I see a comment regarding taking on low paying shops, I think of these $10 call shops.
