I work for them, they are a Scheduling company (not an MSC), you have to be signed up for the MSC's they handle, and they are fine to work with.

ISecretShop is a portal for a few different mystery shopping companies. It is not a mystery shopping company all by itself.
They are scheduling company as Irene_L.A. mentioned. Their coffee shops in my area are good and easy to report. There are varieties of shops on there.
I've worked with them and the MSCs listed have reports that tend to be on the shorter side which is always appreciated!
I've done work with 2 MSC on their portal and have had great success. The shops I have taken so far have been pretty easy to do and report.

I am with them in Canada and have no problems. The scheduler I have is great to work with.
I like isecretshop got lots of free stuff, they occassionally have shops for a clothing items including reimbursement or even bras. Their MSCs however take longer than average to pay. I only do 2 shops a month for them. The shops fet snapped up asap.
One of the MSCs pays every two weeks.

I like them because of the bowling shops they offer. Often, they have shops that let you buy and keep stuff. So far, I have a great tea pot set and a couple of body washes. They always have a good number of phone shops.
They are a platform for many companies. The company listed on the right (web version) is the one that will send your check and communicate with you. I like them for the casino shops but have done a variety of shops with them. In my area, they've had fondue shops, seafood shops, etc., and the reimbursements are better than some others and I find the reports easier than some others as well.
They only offer one type of shop in my area and I do try to do them monthly. They're not too complicated, but the form is long. My biggest complaint is that they pay by check. But the check ALWAYS arrives like clockwork.
There is one MSC in my area that uses iSecretShop that is worthwhile — otherwise I find that most jobs posted through there tend to be paid lower than similar job with Sassie MSCs. I’ve also found it to be incredibly hard to negotiate bonuses with ISS companies, and ISS tends to have harder rotations that can’t be easily manually changed — and it’s harder to make a nice route.

I probably do a job or two a month with the decent MSC... once in a while I’ll grab the cell phone store shops for filler, but often I just don’t see much. Sassie is where it’s at here...

I’d say my work comes from about 70% Sassie companies, 10% Shopmetrics/Gigspot, 5% ISS, and 15% the others. As mentioned, ISS is not a shopping company — they are a software platform, and I feel they also have a scheduling service and are a bit more of a “one stop shop” for their MSCs than the others...

As many have said, they are a scheduling company. I actually love doing the gas station shops that are there. They really don't pay well (the gas station shops), but when I get 3-4 along a road I'm traveling anyway, I will pick them all up. I have 4 kids, so they take turns getting to pick out a snack for the $2 reimbursement; or I will get milk because that's the most sensible way to spend the reimbursement smiling smiley

We just did a 29 day/ 4500 mile family driving trip starting in CO and going to KS-MO-TN-NC-SC-GA-FL-AL-MS-LA-TX-OK-KS-CO. I picked up the gas station or convenience store shops all along the way; many of them were bonused. It's the only MSing I did on the trip and I got paid before I even got home!
@Jill_L that sounds like an awesome trip. I love a good road trip!

@Jenny Cassada, it was incredible.

We did a similar trip last year and spent a ton of money because our kids were 17, 15, 13, 6 and the oldest was due to graduate in a year. We thought, "Kids are going to go their separate ways and we are not going to have a lot of time to spend with them or doing trips with all the family," so we did it.

As it turns out, oldest is going to graduate in December, a little later than planned. And again, soon our kids will be doing their own thing. So we decided to do the same thing this year, but incorporate more "free" stuff like picnics and walks on the beach and walks through downtown areas; along with primarily eating out of a cooler... etc. However, we still did see some highlights in the areas we were in.

These trips will be in our memories forever, and I'm thankful.
@Jill_L I'm so glad you got the opportunity to do that. When I was a kid, my Dad was in the Army and we traveled a lot, not just from base to base, but my parents were insistent that we see as much as we could see wherever we were because you never know when you'll get a chance to again. The fact that we traveled to Munich for my first Okborfest when I was 2 still cracks people up today.

Whenever we were stateside, we would rent a pop up camper from the base and travel from one spot to another, stopping at KOA and tons of fun places along the way. We did the tourist thing as much as we could, but we traveled cheap (family of 6 plus various animals along the way) and saw A LOT! I will never forget those memories and travel is in my blood, whether it's a short day trip or the 10 day trip my sister and I took along the coast with absolutely no plans other than to have fun and stop to see one of her friends in Maine. Now that she is no longer with us, it is one of my most vivid memories that I think about almost daily.

Trips will definitely be in your memories forever and those kids will hopefully have that travel and exploration bug in them, as well. smiling smiley

It sounds like a wonderful childhood that you had! I would have loved having parents like yours! We've not made it abroad yet, other than border towns, so you definitely have been lucky to travel abroad.

Do you have a favorite part of the country? We/I have not been to the northeast yet or to the northwest. We're already planning next year's trip to the northwest. I hear it's beautiful.

My kids don't get "birthday parties." They get to pick out a cake (because I'm not skilled smiling smiley ) And they get a book or something like that. Then they get an "experience" that we do as a family. In lean years, it's been dinner and a movie. In better years, it's DIsney World/swimming with dolphins/parasailing.... and the in-betweens are museum/aquariums/skiing etc.

@Jill_Ll I did have an amazing childhood and I'm grateful for it. The Northeast is my favorite part of the country, it's felt most like home to me, whether I'm living or traveling. I live now on the NJ Coast but I like both coasts. Your trip to the Northwest will be nice, it's completely different than anywhere else.

I love the idea of experiences instead of bday parties. Mom always let us pick what dinner we wanted for our bdays, my brother asked for crown roast every year lol. I remember one or two birthday parties, but it wasn't really a thing with us. The experiences are so much better than big parties and presents.

@Jill_L: You are doing the right thing taking your family and building memories (good for you). My daughter was 13 when we divorced and I was able to travel and did, taking her on her first trip to London, Paris, a fabulous trip of the Museum's (Louve) and all the great ones. Italy and then an overnight train through the Swiss Alps. She is now 43 and tells me because of me she was never afraid and loved everything International, and after college lived in London and traveled with friends, taking trains throughout Europe. This was an education in itself. She reminds me of my "gift" of travel to her and when I say, do you ever sit still, she says, Mom, thank yourself, you started it. haha. Her name is Jillian (Jill), and she is now settled, working and with a great guy, so, very proud and happy to have those memories as I approach "old age"...shutter.
p.s. Back on track, ISS has not had anything worthwhile, but do have my favorite restaurant (not a chain) here in town, so hoping I catch it for the month.

@Irene_L.A., such a lucky daughter! I am jealous that she got such a broad international experience! I'm Jill (obviously), but not Jillian. I'm just a little older than your Jill smiling smiley

Yes, as to the thread: I like the fact that I have their app on my phone and can pick up shops on the go whenever I want. I can self assign and so I can do them on the spur of the moment, and I like that quite a bit....
Jill_L asking about a favorite part of the county, Yosemite, No. Calif (big sur) and up through Oregon, very beautiful. For my 70th B-day, she flew here to L.A. and we took took a B-day trip to re-visit my hometown,
driving to San Francisco through Big Sur (amazing), whale watching, stopping at Carmel and into the city,
past my high school...all these trips especially this one helped get to know one another on a different level.
Aside from her insisting on her GPS instead of Mothers directions, all went well. They grow up too fast, now she goes with/boyfriend, just returning from Cancun and their fabulous resort, "Tulum", a bit romantic for family. Memories are really all left when they get their own lives, so letting go is another gift.

Definitely sounds like a wonderful trip. And we are planning a trip in 16 months to the Pacific NW, so I'm excited to see it for the first time after reading this smiling smiley
