Thumbs Up for Measure Consumer Perspectives !

Hey fellow shoppers,

I just wanted to give a big thumbs up for Measure Consumer Perspectives,
This MSC pays on time. They say they pay on the 15th of the month, but I
was paid today (14th).It's just refreshing when a MSC honors their stated
pay date.I just wanted to pass this on to fellow shoppers. Thanks to this
MSC and keep up the good work !!!!!

I agree, txguitar, payment has never been a problem for me with MCP. In addition, they are quick to respond to shoppers. I like them.
Deleted by poster because it referred to a different company. (I misread the title, lol.)

They are super, fantastic, wonderful! I've done about 300 shops for them in the last year. They pay better than anyone for phone shops, and often throw bonuses at you AFTER you complete a shop. I did a shop for them about a year ago, and they gave me a bonus for writing a complete report.

They are honest, as well. On the same shop, they realized they had left a question off of the form. They asked me to call the company back and ask the question, and added a bonus for doing so.

Lastly, their schedulers ROCK. I can't go on enough, obviously, about how much a love Measure!
I agree, payment is never a problem with this company. That said, I've soured on them. They rescheduled a shop at the last minute, and then rescheduled it again. However, when I signed in, the shop showed a different date entirely. The whole thing was very confusing. I emailed the scheduler, who said she didn't know what was going on. I hung tight, and gave up other opportunities on those "might shop for Measure" days. Finally, I emailed the owner of the company, who never wrote back. The shop ultimately disappeared from my page, and from the database. No apology, no explanation.
I have done little for MCP but have had issues similar to yours, nicelytwicely, with other companies. Usually it is the client, though a recent round of changes has pushed shops accepted and planned around for January out as far as early March with one company. I suspect those were company goof rather than client, but it really didn't matter in this case because there is no schedule conflict.

Things happen, but there is no excuse for not communicating with the shopper.
I am so sorry that you've had this experience. I've never had anything but good communication with this company. Hopefully this was a fluke.
My shopping experience with MCP has been simpley mahvelous!! Decent pay for easy phone shops and payment is definately timely. A few weeks ago I applied for an assignment. I didn't hear anything back and it didn't dawn on me to delete my application. Well the morning after the due date I received an email telling me my shop was hours overdue. What a surprise! How can an unassigned shop be overdue??? I igonored this email thinking it HAD to be an error. Then I received another email later that day. I emailed MCP about this and explained what had happened. I told them I did not want my credibility affected due to their error. I received a timely reply to my email and was asked to complete the shop if possible. Additionally, the due date was extended for another three or four days. I completed it the next day!! MCP is one of my favorite MS co!!
I am still waiting to get paid from them for Nov and Dec 2010 shops. When I emailed them I was told that it was take a while. Your right they do pay good but I am not chasing anyone for my pay.
I'm surprised to hear that you have not been paid for November and December shops. I did both for MCP and have been paid for all shops. Did they say WHY it would take a while? That's very odd.
No they didnt. When I called it to their attention, they informed me that it would take a while.
I've never had a problem being paid by them. I advise going back to ask for clarification. Please keep us informed as this develops.

I agree with walesmaven, bestfr, I would go back and ask why it is taking so long and what exactly the problem is. This just sounds very odd to me. Payment has never been a problem with MCP. If you have not yet been paid for November and December shops, that is very far behind. My most recent payment from MCP was February 15 and it was payment for a shop done on January 12.
After reading this post I went ahead and signed up with them and they actually have quite a few shops in my area. Funny enough they are the 3rd MSC that I am signed up with that shops the same nationwide pizza chain and somehow they pay better than the ones I've done for another company and it seems to be the same form to complete. I went ahead and signed up for a cell phone shop next to my work that seems fairly simple, but I was curious about the phone shops. They had quite a few available at $5 each and they seemed easy enough just curious if anybody has done one and if so how long it usually takes for the call and filling out the online form.

Austinmom,

Just wanted to let you know that I received my payment today through paypal.
Thumbs down from me for this last email I received from them...

"This is a mass e-mail to the entire state so if it does not apply to you please do not e-mail just to let me know that you can not do it. Thanks for I am e-mailing several states and would be overwhelmed."

SO It is ok to flood all of OUR mailboxes because your search program cannot pick out areas?

I just got my first offer from MCP and a bad taste in my mouth to go with it. Applied as a backup shopper over a week ago for shop due by 3/3/11. Got it assigned to me yesterday (3/7/11), but my dance card is full for the week.

My fault for not deleting the app, but damn, it was supposed to be done by 3/3 so how was I to know it would be re-assigned 3/7-3/10?

Got the standard-if you decline this shop, your record with us will be affected. We do not suggest that you do that.

UM. Sorry, bite me that you can't get it together to reschedule a flake timely.

Not impressed so far.
My first experience with them was terrific. High paying job, fast payment and they showed much appreciation. Second job was so-so. I didn't really enjoy it and the pay was low for how involved it was. However, it was the third job that left a bad taste in my mouth. Or, more accurately, what was supposed to be the third job -- it kept getting delayed. At first, I received emails about it, but then the emails stopped, and the date just kept changing on the board. Eventually, without ANY notification to me, the shop just disappeared altogether. Sent two emails inquiring about it, which were not returned.
