ABOUT FACE MYSTERY SHOPPING COMPANY

This is Chilo. eBay scam. Lost $600. could have lost $2k, but I realized it was a scam before I submitted the remaining cards. My bank covered two for now, but might ask for the money back after their investigation. 2. I am out of $200, but a great lesson learned. Everyone tried to warn me, but I did not listen because it was a company I have worked for the past seven years.

I have resolved the About Face problem. The scheduler interpreted my request for confirmation on a guideline as being a complainer!! She refused to respond to my emails, so my friend emailed her, and she responded. I answered the email and inquired  what happened?  She adhered to her opinion that I was a complainer, and she did not want to squander her time to answer my concerns. I have decided not to work for them anymore. We all know if the guidelines are unfollowed there’s no pay. For the first time in seven years with 7,000 plus shops and reports;  9s and 10s, has a scheduler called me a complainer! The company follow-up in two days and they are looking into the schedulers actions, but I have little confidence in the out-come. The guidelines gave me three web addresses of three window replacement companies. The issue was over the third company. The Internet did not provide the exact web address given in the guidelines and this was my concern. All I desired was a confirmation of the web address in case the editor denied the shop based on the one word. The scheduler would not commit and stopped returning my emails. I am curious if you find this a significant concern and how you would have responded to this situation? I shop the wrong company there will be no pay. The shop entailed three in home consultations and reports. A lot of time for no pay not to mention the sales representatives time.
Thank you for your concern. I am happy your problem was resolved. I used someone elses email to get to the scheduler and it worked! The company finally contacted me. I have not worked for them in over a year, so I can not help you regarding payment or due date. I was scammed for $600; almost 2k. When that happens to you it is natural to feel like your being scammed again when someone refuses to answer your emails. Seven years and seven thousand reports completed successfully without one incident of a scheduler not responding to your emails. What was I suppose to think? I learned a great lesson with the ebay cards. Never will purchase a gift card again in my life!!!!!
The scheduler labeled me as a complainer because I required confirmation on a guideline that could make the difference of being paid or not paid! All has been addressed. Thanks for your feedback.
I know, 40 hours. In house consultation with 3 companies at 2 hours each- 6 hours. I am not a great writer with perfect grammar and sentence structure, so I have three professional companies I resort to to correct all my errors and make suggestions. Scribbens Grammar Check, Pro0Aid Writing, and Say It Another Way. I write long detailed reports. I also tape all my shops for accuracy. I have to listen to those tapes and transcribe. Another 8-10 hours. I take the information and put the words into narratives and then select the appropriate informaton for each question. I have to edit and rewrite many times and that's where 40 hours comes in. or 13 hours for each company. Normally, an average shop takes me 6-8 hours to report with this method. Good News: I get 9s and mostly 10s on all my reports!!!! Yes, in most cases, I pay them to work, but I am addicted to mystery shopping.
Has anyone ever perform Presto Shops before? How's payment? Are there narratives? If you are over 8 hours in submission of your report do they not pay you? Thanks.
Not about a scam, but, I get an email for their moving job, take the test and getting ready to make the phone call.
I write Jessica K. to ask a question and am told she no longer works for the company and the job had been assigned to someone else, but is still on my board. Why would she keep scheduling knowing she's leaving.
The time testing, emailing, reading directions and so on are "my" time, anyone else thinks this a bad way to do business? Actually I needed info. on the business for taking old stuff away, wanted a price....one minute here, next minute gone.

Live consciously....
