BestMark - forgot to ask an open-ended question!!

I have only been doing mystery shopping for BestMark for a week or two now, and I've done several automotive calls (to make oil change appointments). Well on my call today, I somehow forgot to ask an open-ended question! Ugh! Is there any way I can correct this? I've had a few shops lately that were accidentally done a bit outside the time frame so I'm worried more mistakes are going to cost me more than just some price deductions.

Just 'fess up and admit you forgot. I forget things from time to time and short of a re-shop, honesty is the best policy.Either that or make a second call and ask an open ended question since it was a call after all.

Hi caringo ~ Welcome to the forum. As an FYI posts about specifically named companies are best left on the Company Discussion board. To find it click on the downward pointing "carrot" on the dark blue line.

I do those shops everyday. It helps if you have a notepad handy and jot down the questions before you make the call. I always write "Name" and "price for the service" and then circle it so that I don;t forget to ask the question. Also, sometimes there comes a situation when an associate would volunteer the price before I had a chance to ask. In that case, have a back up question like "what would be the wait time"?

They forgive a few errors now and then. So, you should be fine provided you don't have a string of rejected shops. I hope that helps.
Tell Bestmark. In the interim as with my experience, they have not been responsive (tlmely). Make another call and note everything. I think they will allow this or hope they will.
Say what?

I don't see any downward pointing "carrot" anywhere.

There are company discussion boards?

I was doing them until I got the job sheets mixed up. Called Arkansas gave a Kansas address. OOPS!! I'm taking a break from them.
At the top of the page, there is a dark blue border. On the left side of the border, there is a down arrow.
If you click on the arrow, a menu populates with different discussion boards.

A moderator already moved it here. Wasn't really necessary to point it out. This is the Mystery Shopping Company Discussion section, versus the Mystery Shopping Discussion section where the thread was initially posted. Either board is fine IMHO.
