I respectfully disagree. I did a long route, 7 or 8 audits. On one of them, a photo I had taken of one side of the MID did not come out. They offered me a chance to go back and take the photo. They paid me for all the other stations. Since the station was 5 hours from my home, I could not go back and get the missing photo; they said they would submit it to the client, and if the client accepted it, I would be paid. I was paid for that shop in addition to all the others.

They did not do that for me. Both of my full audit gas station shops were rejected because of a mistake on one shop. Another shop I did for them, one picture wasn't clear, They wanted me to go back an take ALL 20 pictures over again. The shop was 20 miles from my home. I refused to redo the whole shop for that one picture. It appears they have a person working for them, who rejects ANY shop for ANY mistake.
I would not touch these audits. I wasted over an hour on them.
Marketforce has never refused to pay me for one shop because I made a mistake on another.

When they refused to accept the shop that was done right, I told them I would never do another one of their full audit shops again. What they pay and the time it takes to do them, make them not worth it.
Um....does it occur to anyone else that it might also have something to do with the shopper who completed the assignment?

The first assignment was completes right, no reason for them to reject it. All the right pictures were there. This is on them, not me.

Well when a shopper brags about not following guidelines, the default will always be it's the shoppers fault. It's a pattern with you and just because YOU can't see it, doesn't mean we can't.

Apparently some on this forum disagree, but I have never done an audit for any mystery shop company -- and I likely never will. I've never seen one I thought paid enough for the time and effort.
I won't touch those audits. It is way too much to do as an unrevealed audit. If it were revealed, I might consider, but the pay is ridiculous.
At least $25 for an audit otherwise forget it.
Luckily, we can choose the jobs we like. A few of my favourite jobs are audits. One takes about 20 minutes and pays $20. Report is so easy! One takes longer and pays less. Report is even easier. But it used to pay more and that annoys me, so I rarely do it.

My problem with doing revealed audits is that I feel it prevents you from doing mystery shops at those same gas stations in the future if you have “unmasked” yourself for any future secret work at those same stations.
True. At the convenience store where I do audits, I would never do a mystery shop.

my son and I both do gas station audit for various companies. We read the guidelines and looked at the questionnaires for these audits and flatly refused to do them. They want too much for too little money. And some of their editors have a real quick reject finger.. it's just not worth it.

MarketForce starts these full audits at $8, plus $5 reimbursement. I won't touch them now, even if they offered $20. One mistake and they reject the shop.
I was talked into taking 4 of these at $40 each, 60 miles away. I figured it was worth the driving time and all the advanced payments I would make. I did all the shops, took all the pictures, and made a mistake on a report by uploading a switched picture. I told them I had ALL the pictures and could fix it. They ignored me and disqualified two of the shops. 120 miles and $12.00 spent and 7 hours working and reporting was of no consequence to them. I know other companies that would have worked with me to get all the shops paid, especially since I HAD all the correct pictures and had completed the shops. I was really perturbed by their inconsideration.
Specifically for Marketforce revealed audits, you are not allowed to do the simple mystery shop at the same location for two months.
But I have been assigned a mystery shop TWO YEARS after doing a revealed audit, and was greeted by the employee with "Oh, hi! Haven't seen you in a couple years, where ya been?"

They did the same thing to me. I will NEVER do another full audit shop for them again.
I've done hundreds of these audits in several states and more than 12 years. If the fee is too low I don't take. Yes the audit are a lot more work than the mystery. I prefer the quick. I had a few I didn't get paid because I missed something. I was given a chance to correct but a long drive back wasn't worth it in some case. That's part of mystery shopping. Take what's worth the fee

Anyone who wants to finish a report and get paid. I said to do what's required in the report.
Yeah, a couple years ago I did a half dozen shops for Market Force, all low pay - for too much work, and then ... just got a notice that my association with them was cancelled. No explanation, no nothing. Of all the dozens of companies I've worked with since, Market Force lives down to their initials ... they certainly are MFer's. I'll never register with them again, and don't recommend them to anyone! Be warned is right! Of course, to each their own, as they say ... Just sayin'

Lol, are you going through a kicked off withdrawal? Do not not worry, we have all been through that. There are quite a few threads that have discussed the purge. It has nothing to do with you and your job performance.
