Quest for the Best is one of the best!

They invited me to do a shop for them Jan. 19th, gave me terrific feedback, and paid today less than 30 days later. Kudos!

I completely echo Carol's comments of this MSC. In the 4 1/2 yrs. I've been contracted with Chuck, the pay has been above average for the industry and never late, communication first rate and the reports relatively easy. According to my records, I've completed 297 assignments and wish it were many more.
Hmmm, interesting. They only have one shop in my area, which I've done twice (different locations). They DO pay on time, for sure, but this particular shop is not what I would call high paying, and it's also fairly involved in terms of narrative. Also, I have NEVER received feedback.
I did their one furniture store in two locations monthly, they were one of my first companies, they payed well no P/R, and payed quickly. I loved them and their scheduler. They lost that store due to the economy (closed) and they have nothing in CA. I agree, if all MSC's were like Best for Quest, these boards would be full of positives. I thought pay was fine ($20.00) in store 20 minutes, and fairly easy report, and fabulous communication.

The shop here is also furniture, no P/R. I just checked, and their locations in CA are still open, so I guess it's not the same store!
I haven't checked their board, last time I worked for them was 2009. Furniture was upscale European Swedish store, but know mine closed. I'm going to check now.

edited to say...just checked, nothing in L.A. or within my 30 mile radius. Saying there in CA doesn't help, CA is huge.

I was simply noting that it wasn't the same store you were talking about, because the retailer has stores in CA, including the Los Angeles area.

I can't see anything on their board, even if I search for the entire country. For me, shops have always been offered through email only.
For me as well, jobs were offered by email only, but since the two stores closed, haven't heard from them. None showed on the board in CA.

What I meant by email only is that you won't see them on the board. I dislike when companies do that, but as we know, there are several who work that way.

At any rate, the shop I do here has a location in the LA area. I would think it's shopped, but maybe not.
The only shop I have ever seen for my area is a dress shop I won't bother with because the clothing is so NOT my style.
