Missing Payment from JMRIDGEWAY

Hi all,

I've read some not so great reviews on this company but I'm hoping someone can give me some insight. Has anyone ever had a shop marked as paid but did not receive payment? Also I noticed they payment dates they have listed is totally different from the dates I actually received payment.
I've read some not so great reviews about this company, do you think they will rectify this for me?

Yep. The dates on the shop log are only for their records. Unlike virtually every other MSC, inaccurate is OK. I had the same issue back in the Fall. When I dared to question Nikki she initially didn't answer the question asked then yelled at me when I requested a straight answer. I called her on it but in her world view rudeness is perfectly acceptable. Contact Frank. It took at least 3 emails before he realized that they didn't actually pay me. Before that fiasco I was wondering why I hadn't done much work for them. After, I no longer wonder!
Yes everything you have observed seems accurate to me. I remember another shopper pointing out somewhere in the guidelines it says they pay in the order the jobs are performed. I think in the discussion on this I started last year or so other shoppers mentioned the payment schedule if you want to do a search. I have avoided working for them since the reprimand and non pay for not checking the bathroom in the back of a small secluded office of a storage facility with a creepy "manager" that didn't have on a uniform or name badge in a questionable part of LA. Not worth the $20.
I did some work for them many years ago. I didn't have any problems, but again it was years ago back in the late '90s. Here lately, I am getting back to MS and they were one I re-registered and there was a shop I noticed, but was having problems applying for it, I emailed them about this and still no guidance on how to apply?
Many years ago, i conducted a shop for JMR for which I waited nine months to get paid. Once burned, twice shy.
I work for them pretty regularly and have never had a payment issue. I would email Frank.

Be forewarned. I had a payment issue with them last year, somewhat similar. It showed up on my Job Log as being paid via Paypal. But the money was not there. I emailed Frank about it. He curtly told me that there was some sort of mixup, and that it shouldn't be listed yet, and that I would be paid as agreed. Two weeks later I still was not paid, so I emailed him again. He said he would take care of it, which he finally did. He keeps his emails very brief and to the point of being curt. He can even come across as rude at times. So be prepared. Be professional in your email, and say what you need to say as briefly as possible. Good luck!
A little over a year ago I didn't see a payment hit Paypal. I sent an email and Frank replied saying the system was down or something and checks were sent that month instead. I never saw mine.
Thank you! I reached out to Frank and he was a bit frank with me at first (haha!) but did confirm after few emails that I was indeed missing a payment. He stated it would be rectified within a week or so so hlets see how it goes.

Oddly enough, I just got paid for a shop I did with them last month through Paypal.
I was seriously expecting to lose that $10 based off of what everyone has shared in multiple instances, but perhaps they're having a good month? No clue.

I think I'll steer clear of them in the future though. I don't like feeling like I have to "take my losses" on any MSC.
OP, contact Nikki A first before you contact Frank The Crank. Nikki was able to get payment for me that was 4 years past due.
On 2/20/20 I got paid for three jobs I did on 1/15/20. I just got paid today (2/26/20) for the phone part of an apartment shop I did on 1/22/20. I did the Onsite Visit on 1/27/20, so I'm hoping I'll see a payment notice for that in a few days???

Update 3/5/20 Just got paid for the Obsite visit. I have my payments set up for PayPal.
