HELL NO. I am not shopping. Not as a mystery shopper or a customer.
And I also took a leave of absence from my merchandising job (last Thursday was my last day until things calm down out there), which happens to be inside of a grocery store, so it is considered an essential business in the opinion of the company I work for and the government. My company issued me a letter to show in case I was pulled over on my way to work. But, in my opinion, merchandising is not essential business, since it involves resetting store shelves. Now if I were restocking food items inside of the store instead of just shuffling them around and adding in new items/removing discontinued, that would be different. I am not going to lose my job over it, but I damn sure am not going to risk my health or my family's health by going into a grocery store every day and possibly coming into contact with someone who is sick. Or, what if I happened to be an asymptomatic carrier and passed it on to the grocery store staff and their customers? SMH at you.

Are all you holier-than-thous shopping during this pandemic or am I the only one? I highly doubt that I am. I'd really like to know if the people who are TRYING to shame me are shopping now. So, are you? I can't believe that I am the only one.
