Sinclair COVID language

The Sinclair jobs board (which shows nothing in my area) has this language: "While the fear being expressed in the media may seem to outsize the actual threat, it is still prudent to exercise the prescribed precautions."

Ironically the owner was a Herman Cain donor.

And going to that Tulsa rally without a mask sure worked out well for Mr. Cain.

Is Sinclair Customer Metrics under the same corporate umbrella as Sinclair Broadcast Group? Asking for a friend.

Doesn't seem like it -- the MSC is owned by a Robert Sinclair Jr of Texas, while the broadcaster is owned by the Smith family of Maryland.

In other news, Sinclair's fast-casual-TexMex chain shops are finally back in my area in force ... at the same cruddy fee and reimbursement as before Covid. I took one because it's in a geographical cluster with a few other shops I'm doing that day and the report isn't exactly challenging. Haven't read the updated instructions yet but hoping they don't demand a photo of the salsa bar anymore because I guarantee that the salsa will be "on request." But if they want a photo of an empty salsa bar I'll provide it lol.
