That said, I agree with you and reading between the lines, you have to wonder if this also means that a popular shop that was on Shopmetrics did not have their contract renewed as their FY starts 10/1.
I got an e-mail that the luxury car service shopping program ended — this was the one that was a Legacy Maritz program but that they set up a dedicated Shopmetrics site for (before the Ipsos merge) — I’m wondering if it’s also gone from Secret Shopper/SoS as sometimes they would have a very similar shop (but different survey) show up there but with a different reimbursement — it seemed like it would rotate between Maritz and Secret Shopper... hopefully not gone forever, as my husband has that brand and we haven’t had to pay for oil changes and have had great service discounts for years smiling smiley
I just completed one assignment and will look for more starting next week. I do not predict the end of it. Rather, I try to train myself to remember my login credentials. I use this infrequently... grinning smiley

one of the big gas station clients is moving to ipsos sassie platform in january... ugh. i think the OP was right, maritz legacy is being phased out. will we be able to make bundle offers over there?
But here is fantastic news: I had completed some audits and until recently was unable to complete plain old mystery shops. Today, I completed a gas station shop. This is wonderful news (for me).

Sure hope they allow self assign on Sassie.

It will allow for self-assign if your rating is high enough.
I wonder if this is the end of the grandma brigade calling? I didn’t really think about it til now but it’s been a while since they’ve called trying to sell me on gas stations I just don’t want to do.

They all got laid off months ago.
Speaking of gas stations, I did my first ones on Saturday - 13 hours for 4 shops and I have 18 years of mystery shopping experience. sad smiley I'm cancelling the rest that are scheduled to me. But because they were my first, I accepted the price offered, though I did see I could have 'bid' more. I might be willing to do them in the future for mor money - it was just ridiculous for $12.50 each! Do they actually accept higher bids or is that something to try at the end of a month?
I do a few at base rate monthly that are automatically assigned. They are nearby and in good condition. Any others I wait for a bonus or submit an offer. End of month is best to get offers accepted. However, it is taking me longer to do the shops this month. They keep adding things to check with little $ incentive. Not happy about that.

Well there was this little thing called a GLOBAL PANDEMIC that hit in early 2020.

13 hours? Are you counting drive time, editing photos and submitting report in that time? Or 13 hours for straight audit performing?
I liked the Maritz platform best, since I can request bundles and I have the option to use my digital camera instead of an app on location. I don't want to be assigned four of ten shops I request on a route and have to cancel.
Luvs, that was for everything, though the four shops were fairly close together. But I decided to bite the bullet and get these down so I'm faster now. Still, it's at least two hours for shop and report.
The more gas station shops you do, the faster you will get.

Non-revealed shops are the way to go. Buy some gas, go the restroom, wander around the store checking certain aspects, buy something that costs a buck or two, then leave. Quick, no, hassle, no one knows who you are so you can do tons of them.
Two large projects are moving to Sassie in January. This could, indeed, be the beginning of the end! Can we have self-assign? PLEASE????

Because of the ongoing pandemic, I have had to curtail the amount of shops that I perform. This was to reduce the amount of interaction I have with others. I'm not wishing to provoke anyone or make a political statement, its just a matter of fact and reality for me. For me, that meant, just performing shops on the Maritz legacy platform
The legacy Maritz CX platform was at first bothersome for me when the CRI/Stericycle changeover to Maritz began years ag. But I gradually became accustomed to it and how to navigate the ways it had to be used. I like some of its aspects, while others, no. As an example, the request for reperforming the shop for which week should have had a drop down menu to show that week's dates - sometimes the first week might be 10 days (I believe) and other months, it could be 5 days. As the new company took over, I saw more streamlining of the debriefs and better use of photos.
Now, I've received the Email from them that all shops for the "Blue" and "Yellow" gas stations shall be moving over to the Sassie platform starting January 2021.

I've used Sassie before and really disliked it. Plus, I like using a digital camera and my laptop for reviewing photos and debriefing. Using my smartphone always seemed fraught with errors.
I sincerely hope that the company considers using the legacy platform as part of the Sassie platform.

i’m also really disappointed. i love legacy’s layout. so easy to find the shops i want on the map. if i want to see a specific client, i can get just those to show up on the map. i don’t know how to do that on sassie, and shop metrics map is just awful. i also don’t like that we can’t do bundle offers on other platforms.
My Sassie site is always fillled with a thousand "Qualify for audit" postings. That'll be fun to weed through.

All these years I've never even looked at the Shopmetrics map so I had to examine this statement. OMG! So true, IMO! No matter where I search, the map only shows where I live, and without zoom-in capability. Thanks anyway, Shopmetrics, I already know where I live.

i’m holding onto the legacy life raft with all i’ve got. based on everything i’ve read, it’s gonna be a lot of stress and aggravation once i have to jump to their sassie site.
Blue is posted on Sassie. SELF ASSIGN!!! I am giddy with joy!

Pros: 1. Self assign. 2. Review quiz retains your answers and shows which ones, if any, are wrong.

Cons: 1. Short date ranges offered (about a week). 2. You must individually confirm each shop after assigning (does not have "Accept all" option like Shopmetrics). 3. It's Sassie, so you have to manually expand and collapse rows to fully access your shop log. 4. No search filter options are available.

But, did I mention it's SELF ASSIGN??? Yay!
