Ipsos Inbox Zero

I think Ipsos is playing the 'Inbox Zero' game in my area....usually the next round of shops is live by now but there is absolutely nothing in either Sassie or Shopmetrics except the ones not moving. Is that true everywhere? I'm in Illinois.

Since January of this year, when the new version started, IPSOS has not been very generous with their shops (gas stations as far as I'm concerned) in showing their next month's shops to assign.
I guess that's how its gonna be as we all move forward on their platform (their platform - their rules).

Makes it more difficult to establish a route, but then, there are the other MSCs to consider (as I am doing - especially after reading some of the strings that their scheduler has commented upon - my time - my rules).

They have not been listing the shops as early as they did under the Maritz system. Also, I think it is highly likely that day 1 of this shopping period will be 4/5 and not 4/1 due to Easter.

My shops for April were assigned sometime this week with a start date of 4/1 through 4/10. These are only the ones I requested to be assigned the following month. I haven't seen any additional April shops on the boards either.

Interesting, then. The only ones I requested A-A for, were Week 2, and they came at 4/11-17, which made me think week one was starting on the 5th.

Yesterday several projects suddenly disappeared from the ipsos shop metrics platform. I would say about 80% of the shops that I saw earlier this week are suddenly gone. I asked one of the schedulers, and she said she was not able to assign them on her side either. I have not heard back from anybody about it. it's a shame, because I was going to sign up for several shops, including some that have been historically hard to fill.

They have posted in California.

Even if I change the location to California, I still don't see any banks, home improvement stores, or green dinosaurs.

Thunder, don't you shop Colorado? I see pages and pages and pages of just the three listings you asked about. Did you accidentally turn on some filter?

No filter that I can see. It is very bizarre.

I see 38978 opportunities right now.
In AZ, I see 100 per page and 16 pages worth.

I am only seeing around 900 opportunities.

I'm in Dallas. The no photo gas shops have been showing on the board since about the first of the week(the 27th with dates 4/1-4/10. When I pick my dates and try to self-assign it gives me the message " This shop is not currently available" It's for all of them. Have they just cut me off, or did they just post the shops and then change their mind? The shop window is halfway over and I can't assign any so I filled up on other things, but it just seems odd.

I'm in NY and I only see 879 opportunities.

The only shops within 100 miles of me are bank certification back up shopper with a 11/25 due date and two gas stations on the east side of the state..

If you did those locations last time, you are on rotation. With the old platform, you could not see them.

Thanks for all the replies. It appears some people are seeing everything and some people are in my boat. One of the schedulers said that the upper manager will be back next week and will look into it for me.

I decided to do a 2-day casino evaluation to fill the time until it gets straightened out.

I did not do any last time around, that's why I was waiting for them.

Oh, okay. Well then that is odd, lol. Probably a glitch due to the platform move, or maybe even because many shops were dleayed last quarter after the freeze.

I have the same problem and it seems there is an Ipsos restriction on my account. I remember reading a few weeks ago of people who had similar problems and can not remember what they did to solve it.

Same in New Mexico. The next round of quarterlies should be out by now but nothing. I reached out the scheduler and asked and all she has are ones in the mountains of Colorado.

When this happened to me, I was told that the client had requested I no longer mystery shop their locations.

But I believe it was because I flaked and the scheduler restricted me from this client's shops. Send a message to the scheduler.

The restriction is from Ipsos. I already contacted the scheduler but can not do anything.

Are you out of rotation? This happened to me. I could see the shops on IPSOS, but couldn't assign. I could not see the same shops on KSS.

A shopper can be restricted from a client for any number of reasons, most of them unfair and inappropriate....but that is Ipsos' game. For example, I was restricted from one client simply because I (politely and professionally) objected to a shop being rejected when I followed the instructions to the letter. I asked to appeal their decision and have been restricted and with no response from IPSOS since, regarding this issue. they have all the power, and I will probably be forced to decide between small claims court (sure to result in my personal banishment, forever, from Ipsos) and eating the fee and travel for that particular shop. Hmmm....

I have the opposite issue on IPSOS in my town. I get 12 pages of shops. 90 % of them are the same client and the other 10% are randomly listed among those 90%.Does anyone know how to use the filter to select more than one category at a time. For instance, I am trying to see the mailing shops but there are 6 or 7 categories of mailing shops. How can I select all 7.

You can sort the shops by clicking on one of the headers which include:

Dates
Company
Location
Distance
Fee

Thanks for the suggestion to select by "company". I pressed the survey button and all the non W jobs were on page 10 of my list together with one tenth of the back up jobs.
But is there a way to hold down the select survey button to select all titles with the same client. Sometimes there are 6 or 7 different jobs with that client and i would like to check for all at once instead of going back to that section of the long survey list 6 or 7 times.

Double click the header. One click it sorts A-Z, two clicks it sorts Z-A. Or so I believe.
