Has Cirrus gotten better over the years about paying on time?

I feel you. I hate having to chase my money.
A person who likes shopping with them (I don't recall his name) recently said that he was paid sooner than 4 months and it was unexpected.

Exactly. The bonuses draw in new shoppers. The pay terms keep shoppers away.

4 months?? I just signed up to do my fist shop with them and now I’m regretting it.

Mel, you should do the shop. You should get a feel for what it's like to shop for Cirrus first hand.

I cancelled it. The email listed a 75 pay and the shop itself said 35+5 bonus. When I emailed the scheduler she said the $75 was an error. Waiting until Feb to get $40 doesn’t seem worth it. Maybe if a high bonused one comes along I’ll give them a shot.

Asking if Cirrus has gotten better with payment is like asking if a dog has gotten better at meowing, if the Pope has become an atheist, or if DeJoy has sped up postal delivery.
Somebody - MFJohnson, maybe? - once commented that he knew he would have to chase them but since they always paid in the end, he was willing to shop for them. He just factored chasing them into the fee he had to have. Makes sense I guess, though they've never had anything in my area so I have no experience with them.
They are one of two companies that have not paid me for a job. I spent 2.5 hours doing a shop for them and never got paid.
