Caution**SEELEVEL** no payment or communication!!!

Just wanted to share my experience with this company and urge caution when accepting shops. I completed several shops for this company in November of this year totaling $443.00 with hopes it would give me a little extra Christmas money. I did not receive payment in November. I have sent over 20+ emails to the company (including one the the CEO) left over 20 phone messages….you name it—zero response. I finally reached out to the scheduler who told me it would be issued last week on 12/23. Again, I waited and nothing as of yet. All of the shops that I completed were accepted and said they were paid but that is not the case. I have even contacted PayPal and they did a thorough transaction query and concluded a payment was not attempted let alone paid. Any advice how I should proceed or can anyone share their experiences with this company? I feel like I have been scammedsad smiley
Thanks!

When in November did you do these?

Per their website:
If your shop turned out great and was accepted by the client, then shopper payments are pulled on the 10th of the month for all shops in the previous month and are paid around the 15th of month (unless the 15th is on a weekend and then payments will be paid on the following Monday) or unless PayPal holds our money for a longer time period which does happen sometimes. You must have your SS# confirmed by the 9h in order to receive payment for the previous month’s shops otherwise, you wil be paid in the following month.
I have never had a problem with payments due to me by SeeLevel. They come via PayPal and are shown as payments by Mystery Researchers. Payments are also shown as having been made on my Shop Log. Actually, since SeeLevel was purchased by InTouch Insights, payments starting in late November were sent to PayPal by InTouch Insights.

Same with mine. I've never not been paid on time by them.
Never an issue with payment from them, either.

I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.

You wouldn't have received payment in November for November shops. But it does sound as if something isn't right. Did you receive payment and not recognize the sender? That happens to me every once in awhile because I forget payments aren't issued in their name.

I completed them 11-17 through 11/19. Everything is current and up to date on my profile as well as verified.
That is exactly why I called PayPal…he searched all transactions for the last year with names and amounts and nothingsad smiley
It does appear something is wrong but please note that this MSC has a good reputation in terms of paying shoppers. I, too, have not experienced payment issues with them.

Of course, other shoppers' good experiences with them do not invalidate your bad experience and do not help with your current situation. I hope you get paid soon and are willing to give them another try.
I received two PayPal payments from InTouch for See Level shops done in November and December. Are you sure you haven't received payment under the name InTouch for them? If not, there might be a problem with your PayPal account. They are a reputable company and I'm sure you are not being scammed. There is just an issue somewhere. It will get worked out. Happy New Year!

I received payment from Intouch for November shops. They merged with them and are no longer paying under SeelevelX.

I don't think you've been scammed based on my experience with the company. I've worked for SeeLevel since 2016, before that I worked for them under other names, I think Beyond Hello and Mystery Researchers but not sure of those names. Never had a payment problem. As of November 1, SeeLevel just changed over to a new payment - payment now comes from Intouch Insight. The non-response surprises me because I've always gotten responses to my emails. I've never had to email about a payment issue but I've emailed schedulers who answer me right away. One thing I can suggest if they say they paid but the PayPal payment is not there. Be sure the PayPal address is the same as the one you registered with their company using. I have actually entered the wrong PayPal address for another company (typo) and it delayed my payment. Many shoppers have posted here that they entered an incorrect email or PayPal address or a wrong bank account number. Or that their PayPal address is not the same as the one they are registered with. I would say continue to communicate with the company
below the letter I got form them on October 28:

Dear SeeLevel Shoppers,

We’re excited to let you know that SeeLevel HX is now a part of Intouch Insight!

But what does this mean for you, our valued mystery shoppers?

You can access even more mystery shopping assignments by signing up through Intouch Insight here.
Your payments will begin to originate from Intouch Insight and will be deposited bi-weekly rather than monthly (see notes below on this change).
Some specifics around this shift:

All shops completed through October 31st will be paid out by SeeLeveHX on November 15th.

Assignments completed after November 1st will be paid out by Intouch Insight.
In order to accommodate this change, the first payments from Intouch Insight will be deposited to your PayPal account on November 26th and will cover the period from November 1st-November 20th.
After the November 26th payment, all SeeLevel shops will be paid out according to the full Intouch Insight payment schedule here .
Special note for Retail Technology Client Shoppers Only: Fees for prod will be paid out bi-weekly, but your client reimbursed expenses will be paid once a month to allow time for receipt reconciliation and approval by client.

You are correct to be concerned. It appears that SeeLevelHX is really not in business anymore (in any significant way, at least in the western half of the U.S. I just did searches for California, Oregon, and Washington and came up with Three (3, count 'em!) shops on their job board.
If there are 3 shops on their board they are still in business. There could be any number of reasons or malfunctions to explain so few shops.
I never experienced anything but prompt payment wit See Level or with InTouch Insight.

Concluding that an MSC is "nearly out of business" based on job postings offered on a holiday weekend is problematic. Wait until postings are made in the coming week.

There are 9 shops within 100 miles of me. People are way too quick to jump to conclusions and to panic based upon 3 posts from a new contributor, all alleging the same non-payment by See Level.

I searched 999 miles (the max allowed by Sassie) from various cities and found up to 98 shops in each search. From Los Angles I found 9 shops. It's not unusual to find more shops in different parts of the country. I doubt they are going out of busines.
January 3, 2022 is today. Still...ONE shop available in ALL of California! Two in Oregon, none in Washington. I am just visiting the West Coast, but I have talked to a few shoppers here in the last three weeks, and no one even checks the SLHX boards anymore...maybe they are just focusing on other geographical areas.

I did three shops for them last week and get shop emails from them every week. Some of those emails have traditional SASSIE links. Others have no links and ask shoppers to email the schedulers back.
I'm missing payments for 9 shops that should have been paid on the 23rd. No reply from them to an email I sent on the 28th.
I have not seen anything from them this year but I was paid for my shops last year. And why is it always someone that is new that complains?
