I was paid on time in December. I was not as fortunate this month. The pay date was supposed to be January 20th.
January 23: I sent an inquiry through the website asking about the status of shopper payments. I got a reply 3.5 hours later that said, "Please provide a valid shopper ID." The inquiry form automatically fills in a field with a shopper's ID. So I'm thiniking, "Huh?"
January 24: I sent in a 2nd inquiry through the website asking again about shopper payments and explaining that I had provided my shopper ID. Never got a reply. At all. Zilch.
January 26: On this thread I found the email for Jane Edwards, Senior VP of Strategic Growth at Bestmark. I gave her an overview of the things that I had done and asked her for her help in getting a reply from the shopper payments department. Jane replied a little over an hour later. She said that she had escalated the lack of any reply to the COO and said that something like that shouldn't be happening. She also said, "I do know that we have been processing payments all week and will be caught up this Friday."
January 27: This was the Friday that Jane said my payment would come. It didn't.
January 28: Paypal informed me that I had been paid.
I'm doing a bunch of the sneaky hotel event/meeting message board audits each week through the rest of 2023. I sure hope that I don't have to a hassle every month to get paid.
