Do many of you work for this company? What are your thoughts? I have only performed two audits for them, both of which required an app called GoSpotCheck. I waited until the shops were urgent so that both were profitable because their fees seem very low. The audits were completed and submitted before the due date. I scored an 8 on the first audit and a 9 on the second one. I usually receive 10's on assignments from the majority of companies with which I contract. I inquired but did not receive an answer that made sense (i.e., "Your picture was blurry, and you answered a question wrong" ). No explanation of which picture or which question. I know that my pictures were not blurry unless the app transmitted them that way because they were crystal clear on my end! I offered to re-send pictures but did not receive a response. I was not informed what question was answered wrong. Generally if a question is not answered correctly, an audit is returned, or it is considered invalid (from my experience, anyway). I would like to know what others think of CI - maybe I'm not doing things like they like them done (?). Or maybe I found the strictest company I have contracted for in the 19 plus years I've been doing this gig....

I understand what you're saying. You'd like an answer to your questions so you can do better next time. Seems reasonable. BUT, as many have pointed out in the past, as long as you get paid, the "grade" really doesn't matter. There is no sense beating yourself up over this. An 8 is a perfectly acceptable grade. You need to put it out of your mind and move on. I know that may sound harsh, but the truth of the matter is that you don't get paid more for a 10 and you won't get an answer from the company. And, most importantly, the time spent dwelling on the grade, analyzing your pics for fuzziness, and writing emails that get no response (for no additional pay), can be better spent by signing up with other companies, finding other shops, AND making more money!
Generally i like Customer Impact but the GoSpotCheck app is still a little glitchy. Blurry pictures also are also a problem in Presto and Fast Field. Next time tap to enlarge the photo to make sure it is clear. If they didn't reply to you offer to submit a picture, it's probably the picture wasn't that blurry that it couldn't be submitted to the client. Maybe the editor was having a bad or picky day. I just wouldn't let it bother you since you made the offer to fix it and they declined by silence.
Just remember that most editors are IC's too and time is money! An '8' will get them paid, just like it will get you paid, but taking the time to send back the photo attached and the exact question attached to your feedback costs the editor $$$.

What I have learned with this MSC is WAIT for a bonus. It will come. They wait til the last day or so to accept my bonus, which I phrase as a "gas price" request. I don't complete any of their shops without a bonus. It is low pay for my northern CA area, otherwise.

I did the jobs exactly the way the instructions said to, I put in all of the materials in all of the racks that I had materials for, then they say that I put the wrong materials in, which I did not. I put in the materials that were in the Box that they sent me that had the right date on it.
The pay is so low that when there's enough jobs to make a route you can't afford to do it. You wait for bonuses and there aren't enough jobs to to go out and do or to make a route with.

Making a route doesn't always mean a route of the same shop..... or from the same company. I have DEFINITELY had many a profitable day with CI. Sometimes you gotta get creative & personally I have always been paid on time from this company.

Love Customer Impact! They always pay on time and sometimes they have shops near me. Finally, I have a good sense of which gigs with which companies will be faster on site, easier on me, or whatever I need to consider when planning work. I agree that it is a good idea to cobble together enough gigs of all types to fill work days and earn the desired income.

True, I make a lot of routes with shops from different companies. But i start with 2 or 3 well bonused shops, then fill in with shops from other companies as I can. Maybe that is easier to do with CI shops in big cities, but in rural areas, like where i am, it's not easy, and often not practical.
I did a couple of merchandising audits and refreshes over the last couple of months for customer impact. The scheduler was polite and responsive and answered all of my questions. The base pay for these was $12, and they were described as quick and easy. The audits were neither quick nor easy. Apparently the locations I did had not been done in several months and were in extremely poor shape. I spent an hour and a half at each location and could have easily spent more but just decided I couldn't stay any longer. They were bonused up to $65 each, so it was not that big a deal. But if I had signed up for that for $12, not only would I have been an idiot, but I probably just would have not done it. Since they bonused them so nicely, I worked hard and did a good job getting the locations back in shape.
I've done quite a bit of work for them. I picked up a huge route around Thanksgiving and didn't end up having to do a whole lot of work because nobody wanted me doing any display work the day before Thanksgiving or the day after Thanksgiving at the grocery stores.
If you can do routes with them or pick up onesie twozies with big bonuses they can be worth it. The group that schedules and oversees the projects are great. Never had any problems with them.
I had one merchandising assignment at a gas station that ended up closing early for a staffing issue even though I had called and confirmed their hours and I was paid in full.

I have done many assignments for them and find that they are responsive when I send an email or call on the telephone.
I'm always happy to do shops for CI. Their staff are great and always respond promptly to issues. Very easy to work with.

Recently, I learned that the updated app has a refresh icon at upper right. I needed this when I was attempting to upload my assignments and the process seemed to stall. I felt like a genius when I saw that. Then, I realized that whoever put it there is a heckuva lot smarter than I am!

My experience has been the exact opposite! Sometimes offices have materials from MONTHS back! Go Spot Check works better than Presto!! Love Go Spot Check. The jobs should be done in a "system". Usually, I do them during lunch and then do my route afterward. I try to route offices together with the route going that way. I have never had a problem with the editors. And I have been corrected multiple times. Head games is a little strong! If you want to talk about head games you should be talking about the Green and White gas station editors they are WAY worse than any CI editor.

I suppose that if I was doing the same location every month, and I knew that it was I might consider doing it would normally go for. However, I would be very hesitant to go to a location that I had never been to before without a significant bonus.

WOW.. I know the jobs that I did, I know the jobs that I didn't get paid for, and I know the reasons that they told me that I didn't get paid for the shops. I am not stupid, I didn’t need what I said mansplained to me.
@Morledzep - some people love to defend a company and, in the process, publicly slam individuals that do not flatter said company. This behavior seems to happen when they find out that a company VIP is reading posts. This same type of person then abuses a public forum to request favors from the VIP, such as asking for "Their offices" to be returned so that "Their route" can go back to the way it used to be. It is sad to me because it actually reminds me of high school.

Thanks to everyone that took a few minutes out of their day to respond to my inquiry.
