Is This An IPSOS Shopper's Strategy?

Don't let the weather effect a due date either !
"I can't extend to that date " You stated such and such
due date and "we" need it done. Lose 3 days to work, because
of snow or rain, etc. "you agreed to this date" . Sorry, I am
a god in bed smiling smiley smiling smiley smiling smiley but, I can't control the weather smiling smiley smiling smiley smiling smiley

Yes that could be happening. A shopper can think they can do 19 shops but something happens and they can only get to 8. The shopper knows they can pick up the shops again once they reappear.
It happened to me yesterday....I was assigned to a shopfirst job and just ran out of time before the shop period ended (5 PM). The next morning...voila! It had been cancelled from my log but showed up on the job board at an extra $5. This is not my strategy, and it could backfire on me or anyone else, but it IS the way Ipsos using the Shopfirst process.
Here is something for those shoppers who use this strategy (grabbing everything on the "Job Board" and then not doing all of them - allowing them to fall off their list and return to the board.
When I sign into the Sassie portal, I do so in such a quick manner that I often fail to read the alerts. This time I did it a bit slower and found this message:

"Please only claim shops you are able to complete and fully submit by the due date listed. Shops not fully completed and submitted by their due date will be cleared from your shop log regardless of the level of completion.
Excessive abandonment and reclaiming of shops is cause for deactivation from a program and/or the discontinuation of your partnership with Ipsos."

I am guilty of assigning or claiming a shop by mistake, and, as instructed by the MSC, just let it fall off. Otherwise, for me, I always self assign and then, do the shops.
That’s a new message. As of a few days ago, the message was still one about their new client’s shops. I’m glad you pointed that out. I don’t do that as a strategy, but since I like to avoid a certain scheduler, when I need a bit more time I do let them fall off and reclaim them instead of requesting an extension since they’ve said previously there was no issue with letting them fall off. And I’ve been a bit more lax about getting to every location when I claim a bunch. I’ll have to change that.
Also, previously you could partially submit a shop and it wouldn’t clear off and you’d have more time (depending on the scheduler). I guess that’s changing too. I wish Sassie worked better in areas with low signal strength.

With these new rules that certain shops need to be done the exact same day even if done late at night (9-midnight) it will still be due at midnight. If the signal is bad in that area the shop will still be due at midnight and be taken if not done. The red and blue gas stations with an Indian design can not be picked back up and inputted because they need at least a week to schedule. I think we should boycott shops that can't be completed and inputted the same day. This will mean we can't schedule as many routes because we can't just do the shop and then hop in the car and go to the next shop! And we will only be able to do half as many shops. (Shop A takes 30 minutes and it's a 30-minute drive to shop B and so on. So if you normally can do 10 shops and input them at home now you can only do 5 because you can't just hop in the car and go to the next shop. Shop A now takes 1 hour to 1.5 hours because you have to sit there in the car (most likely with the a/c on because it's 100 degrees outside here {burning more gas}) before you can proceed to shop B. So now shop A costs 10 dollars worth of gas to do instead of five. Instead of making 35 dollars you really made 25. So 25*5=125. How many shoppers do you think will be happy making half as much money as they made before....
