Intelli-shop, new levels of confusion!

So, I receive this email from Intelli-shop at 7:30 AM (one morning this past week) that requests more information. In part, the email says:
"Please return to the question, "Select all that describe the store interior." Only one option was selected. We need you to select all that apply. This is especially important as no interior photo was provided for the evaluation."

The question actually asks which of the criteria were met. I selected one of the criteria, because, that was all that was met. The shop does NOT ask for an interior photo, and in fact, never mentions one.

The email gives me 24 hours to respond, which is pretty typical for and editor email, right?

A bit frustrated, but no more so that for the usual BS Intelli-shop push-back, I elect to go to this location later that morning. However, at 7:51 AM THAT SAME MORNING, I receive another email from Intelli-shop which 'excludes' the shop, because I did not respond quickly enough.

I guess I have to get out of my slippers and robe more quickly.....

A thread currently discussing the noticeable changes in the editing team at IntelliShop can be found at the link below. I think they are using Wordsmith Pros in addition to their in-house editing team (please do not take this as fact - I'm just going on what I have read). You might consider emailing the scheduler for the shop - I think someone else did this and the decision to exclude the shop was reversed. I performed an audit for IntelliShop on 6/15. These particular audits are generally graded very quickly (many times before I can get to the next shop a few miles down the road). I emailed the scheduler yesterday because it is still in "Completed" status as opposed to "Received". I was assured that the audit was submitted correctly. Unfortunately, some kind of change is obviously in the works. I hope IntelliShop decides against supplementing with Wordsmith Pros and continues to use their employed editors.

I've noticed them using WordSmith Pros more often and I'm not a fan. These editors don't appear to actually read your narrative, just send the shop back stating you must answer 'xyz' as if you didn't but in fact you very clearly did.
I was told that the client paused the project...

When I was a University professor, I generally graded out of 100%. If I gave someone an 87 and they thought they deserved an 88, they would come and spend significant time arguing for an insignificant change. So, I changed to a 10-point scale. Now I would grade it an 8.7 out of 10. Rarely did someone come to argue that they deserved an 8.8, and when they did, I said, "You are arguing about a tenth of a point!". They generally left.

So, my recommendation to the MSC editors is to change to a 1-point scale. An 8 out of 10 becomes 0.8 out of 1, and I suspect most complaints will go away. OK, when this happens, you will know who to blame. Me. smiling smiley

Yep, project paused.
Intellishop is very good IMO. They can be a little picky in their reviews. They score your surveys. Sometimes I get a 9 without a comment of what was the deficiency; seems a little subjective.
I complete anywhere from 50 to 150 shops per month for intellishop. I have not received less than a 10 in almost 4 months. I can count on two hands the number of shops that I've gotten less than 10 on over the past year, and I think I've done almost a thousand shops for them. Granted, I do three or four projects that are pretty simple. Most of the time when I get less than a 10 it's because I made a stupid mistake and submitted the wrong photo or receipt. Or I just got extremely tired and did not proofread after dictating narratives.

I'm jealous of the opportunity. They have nothing near me but phone shops with a carrier I don't use. And occasional taunts of food delivery from a spot that won't deliver to me.
I am very fortunate. Overall, they are a good company to work for. They have two large clients that are headquartered near where I live. One of them has locations all over the United states, but they have a giant concentration in the region where I'm at. And it's a 100% goal completion project. Those are the ones that pay. They also have a couple of fast food clients that have high concentrations of locations in the area that I live.

I travel all over the country for work, though, so I can usually find something from them almost everywhere I'm at.

I did 2 well-bonused shops for them last month and they still appear not to be 'graded'. I haven't received any email about them nor are there any comments on the site. In the past they were reviewed within a day or two.
I would reach out to the scheduler and let them know. I have never seen intellishop take more than a few days to grade a shop. I think you should also reach out because we're getting close to the pay date. You definitely want to get paid for those since you did them last month.
So i did a cell phone comparison shop on 7-21-22. The due date was 7-21-22. It said received with no feedback. Today,7-28-22, i received an email stating the shop was excluded because it became to old to use. It clearly states when i shopped and when i submitted the shop so i am very confused. Gas is way to high to run around and do shops to receive an email that states its to old and not submitted on time when it clearly was.
I would definitely get in touch with the scheduler. If you submitted it on time and did it correctly, I'm almost certain they will reverse that decision.

I would do it in a minimalist style, with backlit wood inlays in the walls and grass to give it a cozy feel. I think I would make a store with a very cozy atmosphere, so that when people would come to me they would feel good to be here. I would install designer Grey radiators, as they would suit the interior very well, pendant lamps, over fruits and vegetables, in the dairy department would be something like a mini lawn. That all sounds cool, but the problem here is that I'm not opening a store.
