Confero is ADDING the Shop Metrics platform in addition to their Sassie platform!

I just went to sign in on Confero, and saw a statement that they are adding Shop Metrics to their shopping platforms. I had no idea!! Did anyone else??? They recommend that any interested shopper register on the Shop Metrics platform as well, so I did. They state there are no jobs yet on Shop Metrics, but will let shoppers know when they are available as long as they are registered on Shop Metrics. So if anyone else is interested, here is a link that gets you to the sign in for BOTH platforms, so anyone who wants to can register on the Shop Metrics side. Who knew???

Thanks for the tip. I went ahead and signed onto it. They did have a few phone shops this morning, but nothing that I was eligible for. That would, however, indicate that they are moving along nicely with their Shopmetrics offerings.

Last week, I received an E-letter explaining the addition of the Shopmetrics platform. In 16+ yrs., I have only completed 41 jobs for Confero.

Did Confero merge/buy someone that used the Shopmetrics platform? Otherwise, why wouldn't they just put the shops on their Sassie site?

I am a pretty new shopper and signed up w Confero, initially on sassie a while back. Recently I signed up on the shopmetrics site, filled out the profile info, took one of the certifications to do some shops, however, my profile page looks like it's not filled out even though I can see all my information. I have applied for a job, filled out an application. Then I noticed the application was gone, I reached out to the scheduler who indicated that when job goes to someone else the application will disappear. I did also ask her why my profile was showing up blank, she had no idea. This past week I have sent 2 emails using the form under shopper / auditor area, but no response. Is anyone able to shed some light on this? Thank you!

My password manager is completely confused and i have to hand enter my information into the log in which is annoying. Even more annoying is the fact that often when sent a job offer email on a client I have not worked for the email does not indicate which half of the company the job is in. Will this happen with Confrero too and does anyone have a workaround for this issue?

I do not like Shopmetrics at all. But why does any MSC feel they have to do this? Just stick with one platform and make it easier on all of us, sheesh!

In my password manager I have two listings. One is called Confero Sassie and the other is Confero Shopmetrics.

What is the url you use for this. For both of them I sign in at ishopforipsos.com/log in or something similar. They both pop up side by side on the same page and then i fill in the info on either the right side which is the sassie side or the left. Since they both have the same url to access them that is what is confusing. You must use two different url's.

Now, if only they had shops in my area, I'd be all set!

I'm thinking we're both going to the same website, so the difference must be in the password managers. I use 1Password. When I click in the login box both the Sassie and Shopmetrics information pops up and I can choose the one I want.

LastPass also allows me to select the combination of username and password that I want to use.

The only thing I've seen on the shop metrics platform for Confero is phone shops.

In answer to some questions:
I’m not a fan of shopmetrics, but it allows you to add more than one photo for a question, there’s an app so uploading on-site is easier, and there are other differences I can’t recall offhand.
Fo an email from ipsos, the link for sassie begins with us-sassie and the link for shop metrics begins with ishopforipsos.

Anyone know why this was done and why they are using both now?

I haven't shopped for Confero in years because they only had reveal shops. Is that still the case?

MSCs sometimes experiment with new platforms because they are cheaper than their current platforms. My guess is the different platforms have different functions that shoppers don't see, also.

They only have non-reveal shops around me, but only have a handful of clients so I don't shop for them too often.

Around me, I do a lot of grocery shops for Confero. They also have some QSR shops that I don't do, because I'm not into fast food.
