@hbbigdaddy I totally get the client is the client and you have to go with their wishes. I wonder if their are occasions where it is the MSC asking for the bizarre -- like take a pic of the dining room and bathroom on your drive thru shop and not the client. Is it part of some long game by the MSC where they pay X and expect you to do a, b, and c so we are accustomed to doing a certain amount of work for the fee.
This job I am referring to has a reimbursement that covers the meal and a measly fee that doesn't make it a great value proposition (for me). You are getting free food though.
I know what you mean by smaller/slower places. I got that WTF look last week when I went in the drive thru line to take a pic during a slow time. When I got to the window I told them I will just go inside. Did my inside pic. I ordered some non-reimbursed fries, so it wouldn't look so obvious.
